Aside from Maeve's multiple superpowers, Li Wei had thoroughly enjoyed himself. It wasn't his own bike, so he could stand up and pedal as hard as he wanted!

But on the surface, he certainly wouldn't say that. He just chuckled. "And the two times in the middle of the night, and the two times this morning—were those all accidents too?"

Maeve rolled her eyes at him in exasperation. "That's right, they were all accidents!"

How come Annie never mentioned that Li Wei could be so ungentlemanly?

But Annie was right about one thing: Li Wei is indeed intense. I'm completely stuffed. I don't think I'll want to do it again for at least a week. No wonder Annie couldn't handle it!

After a few more casual jabs, Maeve left first. For her, this kind of thing was rare.

Because of that venomous ex-boyfriend, Homelander, she basically never got involved with people in the superhero circle, afraid of bringing terrible consequences upon them.

But since she couldn't resist the temptation last night, she had to deal with it quickly.

Kimiko would have to make her own choice, but until she found her brother, she probably wouldn't be interested.

Besides, a mute superhero would have a hard time developing at Vought. She couldn't make movies, take endorsements, or sing, dance, rap, and so on.

After carefully recalling the information he had previously investigated about the current outstanding students at Goda University, Li Wei checked out and left.

Settling the bill went much smoother than he had anticipated. Just his face alone was worth a lot of money.

It wasn't entirely out of fear of him; mainly, they believed that if Li Wei, in his superhero identity, patrolled more often near their hotel or other chain locations, it would be far more valuable than mere money.

Since they were so understanding, Li Wei didn't refuse. Who knows, he might have the chance to bring other female superheroes here in the future.

Next, as usual, Li Wei went to the hospital to visit A-Train. He was currently focusing all his energy on replicating the other's Super Speed, not a single day could be wasted. He estimated one more visit tomorrow would do it.

After saying goodbye to A-Train, Li Wei successfully met up with Firecracker, who was carrying his costume.

Since he had told Edgar he was going back to show off, how could he not bring the costume?

Tek Knight, Edgar, and the late Madelyn—people like them, who weren't strong themselves, usually had decent brains. He couldn't let them find any loopholes.

Incidentally, Li Wei planned to let Firecracker make an appearance.

Even without having Ashley do any advance publicity, once a real superhero like him, wearing a cool uniform, stepped into Goda University, the students there would quickly notice him and flood the internet with videos and photos.

He was quite looking forward to seeing Starlight's expression when she discovered Firecracker following right behind him in those videos. After all, Firecracker was tied to her biggest dark secret.

Ever since he acquired Otherworld Teleportation, Li Wei had secretly made up his mind: if he really wanted to find a partner, why limit himself to this world?

Firecracker, on the other hand, was full of longing for Goda University. Because of Starlight's slander back then, she never had the chance to attend.

Li Wei noticed this and simply suggested it wasn't too late for her to enroll now.

Firecracker was momentarily tempted, but quickly shook her head in refusal.

She was already in her twenties. If she spent another four years in university, she'd be almost thirty by the time she graduated. And even then, she might not secure one of those five spots. It would be a waste of several years.

But if she stuck with Li Wei, it would be a different story.

As long as she served Li Wei well, once he became one of The Seven, even if she remained just a little secretary, she'd be far better off than an ordinary third-rate superhero!

After a bit of time, Li Wei and Firecracker appeared at the entrance of Goda University.

Even though he hadn't asked Edgar or Ashley to make any arrangements, after he gave a heads-up in advance, someone from Goda was still there to welcome him.

Still some distance away, Li Wei first spotted a middle-aged woman around forty, with a face full of deep sorrow. It was the principal, Intiara Shetty.

Actually, she used to be quite kind, but after the crash of Flight 37, she lost both her husband and daughter, leaving her in this state.

Given her status and position, it wouldn't take her long to discover that the real culprit was Homelander.

Unfortunately, she was an ordinary person without superpowers, and almost like a dog kept by Vought. In the short term, there was no way to rely on her to occupy Homelander's attention.

Next was a white-haired, very kind-looking old man. He was Professor Richie Brinkhoff from Sage Grove Academy, and one of Li Wei's mentors.

Any graduate of Goda University who wanted to become a guardian in a state or county of America had to undergo training at Sage Grove Academy.

It wasn't just Li Wei; Maeve, A-Train, The Deep, and others were all his students. The old man truly had students all over the world, and his status was far higher than the female principal's.

Finally, there was a middle-aged black man, a second-rate Vought superhero—Polarity.

In his youth, he could barely be called Little Magneto, but his physique wasn't up to par—exerting even a little effort easily triggered epileptic seizures. Eventually, he had to retire and became the head of security at Goda University.

The fact that these three heavyweights all came to greet Li Wei at once showed that Edgar's phone call really hadn't been wasted.

Behind them were about a dozen students, male and female, plus one who could be either, all outstanding current students of Goda brought along to broaden their horizons. After all, superheroes also valued their social circles.

Li Wei swept his gaze over them and couldn't help but smile. The superpowers he wanted to replicate had all appeared right before his eyes!

The one at the front, eagerly waiting, was a typical white handsome guy named Golden Boy. His superpower was controlling flames, and he'd independently developed abilities like throwing fireballs and flight. Basically, he could be understood as the Human Torch from Marvel's Fantastic Four next door.

At the same time, his combat skills were currently the best among Goda's enrolled students, and he was the only one who'd already earned a superhero title while still a student. Multiple states were already competing to snatch him up early.

Some even saw him as Homelander's successor—if Homelander heard that, he'd definitely be very displeased.

But as for Golden Boy's actual combat strength, Li Wei could guarantee that as long as Golden Boy didn't fly into the sky, he could thrash him however he pleased.

Next was Golden Boy's good buddy Andre, a black guy and the son of Polarity. Father and son had surprisingly consistent superpowers—both magnetic control.

But his ability was weak, with an upper limit of about one helicopter. At his father's peak, he might barely qualify as Little Magneto, but by the time it got to Andre, he could only be called Little Hundred-Magnet King or Little Ten-Magnet King.

And Li Wei noticed that the father and son's true ability wasn't actually manipulating magnetic fields—it was metal!

No wonder they were called Polarity. Could the idea have come from playing with magnets?

Kate Dunlap, a blonde, wasn't just stunningly beautiful—she was also a little Professor X, and one of Li Wei's most important targets this time.

Unfortunately, Li Wei's prior investigation hadn't revealed whether she already had a boyfriend. He'd need to find a chance to get closer.

Getting involved with a girl who was already taken usually required a bit more effort.

Jordan Lee, Asian, could be male or female, a born LGBT saint.

But unfortunately, in this superhero-ridden world of The Boys, LGBT wasn't popular at all. He/she was actually the one discriminated against in the academy, only avoiding being ostracized by other students by acting as a professor's sidekick.

A pair of glasses floating midair belonged to Translucent's son. He, his deadbeat dad Translucent, and the earlier Ten-Magnet King and Polarity father-son duo were the only two blood-related pairs in history to gain similar or identical superpowers.

But Vought had researched it for over a decade and never figured out the secret behind it. In the end, they had to reluctantly admit it was pure coincidence.

Then there were Blackford the Third, Rufus, and others. In the materials Li Wei had gathered, they were all in the top twenty of Goda's current students. Outside, they'd definitely surpass many third-rate superheroes.

Li Wei could understand—it wasn't just their talent, but also Vought's Compound V technology gradually maturing.

Maybe in a few decades, every Goda student could have Golden Boy's strength.

But by comparison, to Li Wei, they were pure extras.

Either their abilities were too weak for Li Wei to care about, or there were better substitutes available.

The female principal also smiled in greeting, then gave Li Wei a brief introduction: "These are our most outstanding current students. Maybe some of them will be your colleagues in the future."

"Haha, great. Juniors and seniors, when you graduate, if you ever need any help, feel free to come find me."

Whether he'd actually help them was a different matter.

Golden Boy and the others certainly couldn't hear Li Wei's thoughts. They just felt that this senior was as easygoing as the legends said, and damn, his battle armor was seriously cool!

Regardless of gender, their eyes all lit up. A few of the girls even secretly threw winks at Li Wei, including Kate.

That made Li Wei think there was a chance—maybe he'd have a new bedmate tonight!
