Background / History

Tang Wulin began as a Blue Silver Grass wielder whose Martial Soul was derided as worthless. Rather than accept that judgment, he resolved to compensate through effort and became known for exceptional physical strength, tenacity, and a refusal to be discouraged 3 4 57.

He joined Zero Class under Wu Changkong alongside Gu Yue, Xie Xie, Nan Fusheng, and later other classmates. Wu Changkong recognized Tang Wulin’s potential, directing him to improve his Martial Soul control and consider fighting with a weapon 16 25.

Tang Wulin developed as both a combatant and a blacksmith. His Thousand-Refined Heavy Silver Hammers possessed the Stacking Hammer effect, transmitting force in successive waves; using them, he broke Wu Changkong’s wooden sword and forced his teacher to respond seriously 26. He later became Feng Wuyu’s disciple and demonstrated the Tang Sect’s Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer technique in forging competition 281 282.

After Shrek Academy’s destruction and the Tang Sect’s disappearance underground, Zang Xin identified Tang Wulin and his companions as the future hope of both organizations.
