Deification? Deification!

Looking at the Magic Books before him, Isaac found himself in a bind. But no matter how difficult the choice was, he had to make one. He could only pick the best of a bad bunch!

After weighing his options repeatedly, Isaac plucked the Magic Book bearing the title "Investiture of the Gods" from Hamon's palm. Of course, its name now was "Mythic Epic," a rather ordinary name.

Isaac had originally considered doing something fancy with the name to make up for its slightly inferior quality, but after giving it careful thought, he still decided to use something more ordinary.

After all, a Legendary Wizard's Magic Book was meant to last a lifetime. An unserious name might bring in considerable attention in the short term, but it would not benefit long-term development. For Legendary Wizards, if these Magic Books could continue to be passed down, the benefits they brought would be immense!

Of course, another factor that prompted Isaac's decision was that even if he resorted to such clever tricks, it would not bring him much attention anyway.

The instant he took hold of "Mythic Epic," Isaac's consciousness entered that star-filled space once more. Compared to the previous three Magic Books, "Mythic Epic," with its grand setting and all manner of wondrous abilities, made this starry curtain far more dazzling. Of them all, the two hanging highest in the sky, the largest and brightest, were the List of Deities and the God-Beating Whip!

But brightness was relative. "Mythic Epic" had existed for too short a time. Although its contents related to gods, especially deification, were extremely eye-catching, and the middle and upper ranks of the Religious Nation almost all owned a copy—

In the end, it had still existed for too short a time. Amid the stars filling the sky, not a single one had condensed into a legend, including the brightest List of Deities and God-Beating Whip.

Thus, as Isaac looked at the stars filling the heavens, he found himself troubled. Though the List of Deities and the God-Beating Whip were powerful, in Isaac's plan, the two belonged together. One was responsible for creating gods, while the other controlled them. Only when paired with other magical techniques could they, to a certain extent, accomplish Enslaving Gods.

But the accumulated Faith Power was not enough yet, and he only had one Miracle Wick.

After hesitating for a moment, Isaac let out a deep sigh. In the end, he gave this Miracle slot to the List of Deities. His most urgent task now was to swiftly gain fourth-tier combat power after advancing to the fourth tier. As for means of control, that could be set aside for the time being.

At worst, if it went out of control, he could just throw it away and make a quick escape himself. What was the big deal?

Besides, it was not as though there would necessarily be no means of control. Even Legendary abilities one level lower were not exact replicas of the abilities in their books; they underwent a certain degree of change. Take the Fairy Elf summoned by the legend of "Cinderella," for example.

Legends possessed such traits, so surely Miracles of a higher level would not be much worse.

Having made his decision, Isaac kept only "Mythic Epic" and stored the other three Magic Books within his body. Then, following Isaac's will, Hamon set up a basic six-pointed Magic Array on the ground and placed "Mythic Epic" at its center.

Isaac placed the Miracle Wick into an oil lamp. Magical radiance flickered at his fingertips, and a bean-sized flame of dazzling colors rose. With a gentle push from Isaac's right hand, which held the oil lamp, the lamp floated above the Magic Array.

The multicolored wick swayed gently as specks of miraculous starlight quietly emerged and gathered toward the Magic Book at the center of the array. The Magic Array slowly lit up as well, and under the Miracle Wick's guidance, the gathered magic power gradually flowed into the Magic Book.

Isaac narrowed his eyes. As the Magic Book's owner, he could sense a force of an extremely high order suddenly descending upon it. An illusory world was rapidly taking shape!

"Did this directly accelerate the process of shaping a Miracle?"

Isaac was somewhat surprised, but also delighted.

He had originally thought that the Miracle Wick's effect was to directly sublimate a Miracle into existence. Yet once he actually used it, he discovered that it did not skip the process and directly produce a result. Instead, it accelerated and completed the process of shaping a Miracle.

Although the two methods yielded the same result, the latter was clearly far more useful to Isaac. After all, through this process, he could gain a deeper understanding of how Miracles were shaped, which would greatly benefit his future cultivation.

As Isaac pondered this, the illusory world within the Magic Book had already taken form. In an instant, the bean-sized multicolored flame of the Miracle Wick suddenly swelled. Drawn by the wick, the power of the world's origin descended and rapidly merged into the Magic Book.

In the blink of an eye, the illusory world of deification within the Magic Book was refined by the world's origin, completely dissolving into it.

Then, the Miracle Wick's flame abruptly scattered, turning into multicolored starlight that sank into Isaac's body. Without the Miracle Wick's guidance, the power of the world's origin rapidly dissipated, merging back into the world along with that dissolved illusory world.

At the same time, as the power of the world's origin returned to the world, a strange sensation quietly arose in Isaac's heart. At the same time, his magic power, which had long ceased to move, began rapidly increasing in an instant.

He had advanced!

Isaac froze for a moment, then quickly closed his eyes and began sensing the changes in his power. At the same time, a pitch-black rift quietly appeared behind him, and surging magic power rapidly poured into his body, suppressing the magical fluctuations caused by Isaac's breakthrough to the greatest possible extent.

At a time like this, he did not want his breakthrough to cause a city-wide uproar.

Third-tier Isaac and fourth-tier Isaac were entirely different concepts. If the former emerged from the Boundless Spire, he would only be fourth-tier, which meant little to most of the Empire's powerful nobles. But if he was already fourth-tier, then he would emerge as fifth-tier!

And a noble mage at that!

And an extremely young mage at that!

To Solomon's political enemies, this was absolutely intolerable. Therefore, they would very likely try to surround and kill Isaac within the Boundless Spire!

He was not afraid of trouble, but he had no interest in going out of his way to invite it.

And so, a Miracle Wizard was born without a sound...

The advancement lasted the entire night. The next morning, in the dim basement, Isaac slowly opened his eyes, the corners of his lips lifting slightly. In a sense, he had won his gamble!

Isaac raised his right hand. Magical radiance flickered through the dim basement, while the flowing light of a Miracle coiled around his fingertips—Miracle: Deification!

Miracle: Deification was the Miracle magic Isaac awakened after advancing to the fourth tier. It had two primary effects. The first was to confer godhood!

Or rather, to weave gods. He could weave one or more types of Divine Strength into a Virtual Godhead. Any creature that received this godhead would instantly become the corresponding god. Though it would be a newly born Virtual God, it would possess a series of powers proper to a god!

Even the weakest Virtual God possessed combat power at the upper fourth tier!

Most importantly, this Virtual Godhead was entirely under Isaac's control. Though he could not decide the Virtual God's life or death, the Virtual God's power could not harm Isaac in any form, and he could reclaim the Virtual God's power at any time!

The second effect was that it could create a Magic Book capable of signing contracts with gods and commanding them!
