To Gaia, both children were equally dear. She could not sacrifice Cheryl's interests just to make things up to Isaac. That would be unfair to Cheryl.

"Yes. Their only office within the empire is there. Once he's joined, though, he can travel straight to the Flesh Cult's headquarters through a teleportation ritual."

"In that case, let's take care of both matters together. Have him go to the Imperial Capital with Remington."
