Among ordinary people on Earth, Arale was not particularly famous. Most knew her only as Kraft's little sister and an Easter egg NPC in the Virtual Game "Dream World."
Out in the universe, however, Angela and Arale were quite well known. Anyone even slightly well informed was unlikely to come looking for trouble with Arale.
So when Kraft learned that an intruder had appeared on Arale Star, he was rather baffled.
Once the bafflement passed, curiosity naturally followed.
Kraft stopped his forging work and opened a Portal to Arale Star.
"Come on, let's go take a look." The three stepped through the Portal and arrived in the blink of an eye at Kraft's space outpost, an asteroid sculpted into the shape of Arale's head-Arale Star.
As soon as he stepped out of the Portal, Kraft heard the sounds of battle nearby. Already wearing his Dream Suit, he quickly pinpointed the two combatants.
The fellow glowing blue all over and commanding countless blue tentacles that burst out of the ground was, of course, Ego, whom Kraft had captured and put to work as forced labor.
Kraft had not expected him to work so hard on his behalf, though.

Considering that Ego, a planetary consciousness, had been dumped on Arale Star for several years without even getting out for some fresh air, Kraft felt he ought to give him a vacation when things quieted down.
Ego's opponent was a silvery metal man who looked a little like a T-3000 restored to factory settings, or an Oscar statuette painted silver.
The silvery metal man stood on an equally silvery surfboard, darting through the air at tremendous speed and destroying the blue tentacles under Ego's control.
