Her relationship with Yu Xiaogang dates to that earlier period; Qian Daoliu remembers him as the man who nearly took the Saintess away from Spirit Hall. By Long Yun's arrival, she has become an iron-blooded Pope whose distrust of men is attributed to the harm she suffered in her past 9 149.
