Background / History
Li Wuyang arrived in the Primordial World as an inexperienced newcomer protected primarily by a note left by his “Primordial Father.” The note's Primordial Dao Rhyme prevented Demon Ancestor Luohu from killing him, while the Great Dao Imprint within his consciousness sustained him under Luohu's pressure 2.
He soon acquired Huaihuai as a mount through his “Destined by Fate” ability, then survived among the Houtu Tribe by presenting himself as the Primordial Dao Child. The tribe's fear and reverence increased after he used the Primordial message slip to destroy a thrown boulder and later attracted a fragment of Luohu's weapon 2 5 6 7. Before leaving, he repaid the tribe's aid by passing on the Witch Body Forging Art under an oath of secrecy 25.
His travels brought him to the Myriad Spirits Market, Zixiao Palace, and increasingly dangerous conflicts with demon cultivators. He learned to rely on the Great Dao Imprint, Sky-Opening Axe, and his own judgment rather than solely on bluffing or luck, notably stripping demon attackers of their cultivation during an ambush 13. He also reached Zixiao Palace through a hidden path revealed by his bronze compass and received a Nine-Revolutions Purple-Gold Pill from Taishang Laozu 29 32.
After temporal turbulence scattered Huaihuai, Little Fire, Yingying, and Jinbao across unknown worlds and eras, Li Wuyang became determined to gain enough strength to find them. He protected the injured Xuan in the unfamiliar Spiritual Stream Realm and began treating strength as a responsibility rather than a convenience 40.
Li Wuyang later sacrificed himself to revive Xuan within the Eternal Furnace. Rather than dying, his will, Xuan's Source of Annihilation, and Origin Starfire formed a newborn Chaos Dao Body; his consciousness merged partially with Xuan's origin 94 95. This rebirth became the foundation of his later Chaos, Annihilation, Starfire, and Reincarnation paths.
In the Star Sea, he joined the Sky Patrol Guard, became a Sky Patrol Inspector, and repeatedly fought the Cult of Rebirth, the Stomach of the Glutton, and the Finality Council. His efforts to revive and purify Xuan drove many of his major decisions, including obtaining Heavenly Book pages, seeking the Lotus Platform of World Purification, and enduring its purification backlash 112 164 168 169 179.
As the Finality Council's war escalated, Li Wuyang became a central Alliance defender and leader. He destroyed the enemy space gate at the cost of his body, survived as a wisp of soul within the Primordial Stone Coffin, inherited Reincarnation-related techniques, and later returned as a Quasi-Saint 280 286 309. Primordial Father subsequently dismantled and rebuilt his cultivation using Chaos Origin, setting Li Wuyang on a higher path centered on Chaos, Reincarnation, and severing predetermined fate 351 352 361 366.
Appearance
Following his rebirth, Li Wuyang initially manifests as a childlike figure with an exceptionally high-grade chaotic aura. His body and appearance continue to evolve alongside his cultivation 94 95 309.
- A Chaos Mark appears between his brows after the formation of his Chaos Dao Body 94 95.
- His reborn body has heterochromatic eyes: the left reflects Li Wuyang's curiosity, while the right carries Xuan's cold, ancient temperament 95.
- At the Quasi-Saint stage, he has long black hair; his left eye manifests Chaos birth and death, while his right reflects Myriad Reincarnation 309 310.
- His completed Chaos Dao Body possesses jade-like bones, pale-gold Chaos blood, and complex Chaos Dao Patterns throughout his flesh and soul 361.
Personality
Li Wuyang begins as frightened but adaptable, often using the reputation of the “Primordial Dao Child” to survive opponents far beyond his strength. He is willing to bluff under pressure, as shown when he convinces the Witch Clan and later stalls four powerful figures through an improvised “equity distribution” negotiation 5 6 58.
His early reliance on good fortune gradually becomes a disciplined resolve to protect others. The loss of his companions makes him acknowledge the burden of weakness, while Xuan's repeated endangerment gives his cultivation a clear personal purpose 40 76 105. He repeatedly risks his life for Xuan, his companions, and the Alliance, even when doing so damages his cultivation foundation or leaves him near death 94 133 168 280.
Despite his growing authority, Li Wuyang remains practical and strategic. He prefers exploiting an enemy's weakness, using deception, negotiation, formations, or a targeted strike rather than seeking a direct confrontation 58 180 240 276.
Abilities & Skills
Chaos Dao Body
Li Wuyang's Chaos Dao Body was formed by fusing his will, Xuan's origin, and Origin Starfire within the Eternal Furnace. It can harmonize mutually opposed powers and serves as the core of his later cultivation 94 95 162.
- Absorbs and assimilates Star Creation Power, Annihilation energy, demonic energy, and other high-grade forces 100 133 152.
- Resists demonic corruption and allows him to use an ancient demon's energy to temper his sword intent 102.
- Grants exceptional spatial movement, energy perception, and short-range transformation into chaotic energy 95.
- Eventually reaches genuine immunity to all magic and resistance against evil energies after refinement in the Myriad Laws Furnace 361.
- Can still be severely damaged by opponents whose cultivation vastly exceeds his own, especially before his later breakthroughs 108 121.
Destined by Fate
Li Wuyang possesses a fortune-based constitution or skill that repeatedly draws opportunities, spiritual items, companions, and dangerous encounters toward him 2 6 7.

- Temporarily disrupts the Golden Fillet's control over Sun Wukong 368.
- Can interfere with predetermined events while avoiding a complete collapse of the larger “script” 369.
- Its use consumes substantial mental energy and risks attracting Heavenly Dao scrutiny 369.
Spatial Perception and Navigation
Li Wuyang develops basic spatial abilities through Introduction to Space, his Chaos Dao Body, and the bronze compass 19 95.
- Learns basic spatial perception and short-distance teleportation 19.
- Uses the compass to discover a hidden route up Buzhou Mountain and reach Zixiao Palace 28 29.
- Travels safely through portions of the Starry Sky Ancient Road despite spacetime storms and void creatures 103.
- The compass can lose direction in worlds with incomplete laws 40.
Strategy and Command

- Extorts the peak Earth Immortal Golden Suan King, forcing him to surrender his storage ring and life-bound weapon 28.
- Manipulates four great figures into offering treasures for the Chaos Altar's activation ceremony 58.
