Background / History
After Pangu created heaven and earth, the Great Dao retreated and the Heavenly Dao first emerged. At some point, the Great Dao of Yang disappeared while Yin became dominant, leaving every native being unable to manifest as male. The Heavenly Dao only gained consciousness after discovering this imbalance. 3 24
Chu Feng's arrival during the Dragon-Phoenix Calamity introduced Yang-attributed laws back into the world. As its first known male being, he was treated as an anomaly whose existence could potentially restore balance between Yin and Yang. 1 3 5
The world was repeatedly reshaped by major calamities and interventions. The Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans fought during the Dragon-Phoenix Calamity; Luohu later founded the Demon Realm from killing intent, resentment, and malevolent energy. The Witch Clan emerged from the Twelve Ancestral Witches, who were born from Pangu's essence blood beneath Buzhou Mountain. 6 22 26
During the Witch-Demon Calamity, the Heavenly Dao maintained that calamities were necessary to reduce excessive powerhouses and karmic entanglement. Chu Feng instead advocated world ascension: making the world capable of sustaining more powerful beings so that such destructive balancing measures would no longer be needed. 161
The Great Dao personally recognized Chu Feng's world-ascension method after he presented the Supreme Primordial World Origin. It suppressed the hostile Heavenly Dao and agreed to protect Chu Feng until the ascension process was complete. 163
World Laws & Cosmology
Yin–Yang Imbalance
- The Great Dao of Yang was extracted or disappeared, while the Great Dao of Yin was strengthened; native beings consequently formed as female. 24 244
- The imbalance prevented even beings with the will to become male from manifesting male forms. 24
- Chu Feng's Extreme Yang Power stabilized the first male humans created by Nuwa, allowing Yin and Yang to remain balanced in their bodies. 82
- The Supreme Dao System later confirms that the gender imbalance was caused by an outside mastermind rather than by the System itself. 244
Great Dao and Heavenly Dao
- Great Dao — A transcendent authority above the world's laws and Heavenly Dao. It can halt laws and energy in the Endless Void, judge world-ascension methods, and suppress the Heavenly Dao. 163
- Heavenly Dao — The world's governing will. It regulates calamities, oversees Saints whose Primordial Spirits are entrusted to it, and prioritizes the world's stability. 1 161
- The Heavenly Dao initially opposed world ascension as too unpredictable, but later cooperated with Chu Feng to create a separate world for the Investiture of the Gods Calamity. 161 194

Parallel World Hierarchy
| World Rank | Notes |
|---|---|
| Low-level Primordial World | A lower rank with incomplete laws and limited capacity for powerful treasures or beings. 96 98 |
| Mid-level / Intermediate Primordial World | Formed from or governs numerous lower worlds in the nested cosmological structure. 98 |
| High-level / Advanced Primordial World | More complete than intermediate worlds but below Chu Feng's home world. 104 110 |
| Top-tier Primordial World | The rank of Chu Feng's original Primordial World before its planned ascension. 100 |
| Supreme Primordial World | The next documented target rank; attainable through the integrated Supreme Primordial World Origin and the System's calamity reward. 163 246 |
| Mythical / Origin Primordial World | Higher classifications identified in the setting's world hierarchy. 98 209 |
Major Locations
- Buzhou Mountain — The former heavenly pillar, formed from Pangu's spine. Chu Feng secretly replaced it with a Buzhou Mountain from an Advanced Primordial World before the replacement mountain was destroyed during the calamity. 180
- Pangu Hall — Located within Buzhou Mountain; the birthplace of the Twelve Ancestral Witches and the site where Pangu's Will bestowed the Nine Forms of Heaven Splitting. 6 32
- Purple Heaven Palace — Hongjun's Dao Field and the principal site of her sermons, saintly gatherings, and decisions affecting the world's political order. 56 65 247
- Human Race ancestral land — The early center of human civilization, protected by Chu Feng's formation for ten thousand years after his departure. 93 122
- Demon Realm — A separate demonic domain founded by Luohu; its spiritual and demonic energies are far denser than those of the main Primordial World. 22 218
- Underworld — The realm opened by Houtu for reincarnation and later empowered by Earth Dao destiny. 175 176
Major Arcs
Dragon-Phoenix Calamity
The Dragon and Phoenix Clans descend into war through manipulation and false evidence, while the Qilin Clan is pushed toward joining the conflict. Chu Feng attempts to uncover the conspiracy and prevent the Three Clans' destruction. 5 8 10
Creation of the Human Race
Nuwa proves the Dao through the Law of Creation and creates the Human Race. Because the world's Yang laws are deficient, Chu Feng must use Extreme Yang Power to preserve the male humans' forms. 81 82
Nuwa subsequently establishes the Human Religion as the Saint Mother, with Chu Feng as Saint Father and Fuxi as Deputy Sect Master. Multiple great powers later teach the Human Race body refinement, swordsmanship, medicine, agriculture, alchemy, and other foundational arts. 84 122
Witch-Demon Calamity
The Witch and Demon Clans repeatedly clash for control of the world. Hongjun imposes a thirty-thousand-year truce, but the conflict later resumes and devastates the Primordial World for fifty thousand years. 91 179
Jieyin and Zhunti manipulate Zhurong and Gonggong into fighting around Buzhou Mountain. Their scheme results in the destruction of Chu Feng's replacement heavenly pillar, the tilting of heaven and earth, and the flooding of the world by Nine Heavens' Weak Water. 179 180
Mending the Heavens and Spiritual Veins
Nuwa refines Five-Colored Stones to repair the damaged heavens after Buzhou Mountain's collapse, though the Heavenly Dao initially refuses to assist her. 181
Following the war, Chu Feng gives the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans Chaos Spiritual Veins and spiritual plants to restore the world's earth-vein nodes. After more than a thousand years of work, they restore its spiritual energy to roughly 80% of its pre-war level, and the Heavenly Dao cleanses their karma with merit. 188
Parallel-World Integration
Chu Feng, Luohu, and Yang Mei travel through parallel Primordial Worlds, eliminate transmigrators, absorb origins, and merge a more advanced Primordial World into their own. 88 105 110 111
These mergers strengthen the top-tier world's inhabitants and contribute resources and origins toward its eventual ascension. 111 113
World Ascension Conflict
Chu Feng openly rejects the Heavenly Dao's demand that he cease interfering with the world's fate. He argues that ascension will allow the Primordial World to support more powerhouses without relying on calamities to maintain balance. 161
The Great Dao validates this proposal and accepts the Supreme Primordial World Origin as the foundation for repairing the world's defects and raising its rank. 163
Investiture of the Gods Preparations
To prevent the Investiture of the Gods Calamity from devastating the main continent, Chu Feng and the Heavenly Dao jointly create a separate world from collected origins. It is intended to serve as the calamity's battlefield while keeping most inhabitants of the Primordial World uninvolved. 194
The Supreme Dao System later assigns Chu Feng the task of personally orchestrating the calamity; success will accelerate the world's ascension directly to the Supreme Primordial Realm. 246
