Primarch Retrieval Plan

The retrieval of Number Sixteen was undoubtedly great news for the Emperor.

Due to the influence of the Warp, the field of gene-modification was prone to losing control.

In the Dark Age, many unspeakable horrors originated from genetic experiments.

A small portion of these were intentionally created by madmen.

The vast majority, however, were purely the result of experiments gone awry.

In order to possess a stable force of superhumans to conquer the galaxy.

The Emperor first created the Primarchs as anchors.

Then, using the Primarchs as templates, he created the Astartes Legions.

As the Emperor ambitiously planned how to use the Primarchs to conquer the stars, he suffered his first setback.

The Chaos Gods invaded his laboratory, stole the Primarchs, and scattered them across the galaxy.

"Bring him to me immediately."

The Emperor ordered Horus brought before him.

The recovery of Number Sixteen made him very happy.

Within the Primarchs was the Origin Power he had stolen from the Warp.

They possessed dual characteristics of both the Warp and the real universe, serving as unique anchors.

In a sense, they were young gods existing in the material realm within human shells.

"Have you thought about what you'll say to him?" Raven asked. "Big guy, you're not going to talk about father-son bonding, are you? About how he should bear the responsibility of saving humanity."

"Shouldn't he?"

The Emperor looked at Raven, asking for his opinion.

They were equals.

The Imperial double-headed eagle symbolized the Emperor and Raven.

The two were bound together, two sides of a single symbol.

Neither could exist without the other.

"We are not gods," Raven said. "For a child to be born destined to be a savior of the world is a plot from myths."

"Or do you want to be like the gods in stories, arranging the fate of all beings from the very beginning? If that's the case, what's the point even if you say a thousand times that I am not a god?"

"Treat him as an ordinary person. If he cannot understand the hardships and suffering of ordinary people, how can we expect him to save this race."

"But!!" The Emperor hesitated. "They are very powerful and should not be wasted. With them, we can conquer the universe much faster."

Raven said, "We already possess the knowledge and technology to make ordinary people strong as well."

"Have you forgotten your experiences in another universe? Those frail ordinary people relied on their own resilience and wisdom to fight enemies far superior to them."

"If we want humanity to transcend, then we must believe in humanity's potential."

"You are right, Raven," the Emperor said. "I will carefully consider how I interact with him."

If it were Malcador or Waldo, the Emperor would have stubbornly insisted on his own opinion.

But Raven's words, the Emperor had to listen to.

Horus was brought in by the Adeptus Custodes.

His stature was immense, exuding an oppressive aura and a unique charisma.

Within his powerful frame lay nearly infinite strength.

After being stolen from the Emperor's secret laboratory by the Chaos Gods.

Horus landed on Kossonia.

A gang world not far from the Solar System.

Horus's nutrient pod exploded upon landing on the surface.

It severely injured Horus, who was still a child at the time.

Wounded, he was discovered by the owner of a slaughterhouse, a butcher wearing a human-skin mask, who took him back to be made into soup.

The local gang boss, Hagerton, happened to pass by the slaughterhouse and rescued Horus, who was hanging on a meat hook, about to be disemboweled.

No one knew what this brutal gang boss was thinking.

Perhaps it was destiny, or perhaps there was some mysterious power within the Primarch that ensured his survival.

Taken back by Hagerton, Horus was given the name Nel'igu, a meaningless name.

It was an ancient word from the first colonists of Kossonia.

Its literal meaning was 'no name'.

To earn his own name through killing, Horus left his tribe and went to the surface.

On the surface, he found the incubation pod that had birthed him and killed a member of the Adeptus Mechanicus who was exploring the surface.

The Sage Mechanicus captured his facial features, and after comparison, confirmed that the other party was a precious creation lost by the Emperor.

Horus took the weapon of the Tech-Priest he had killed as a trophy.

He brought it back to the tribe, wanting to earn his own name through slaughter.

Hagerton slapped him in return, accusing him of bringing disaster to the tribe.

Things indeed unfolded as Hagerton had predicted.

The Mechanicus's revenge arrived closely following Horus's return.

In the final moments before the tribe was annihilated, Hagerton said to Horus, "Strike, nameless boy. If you wish to earn a name through slaughter, you must spill my blood."

Thus, Horus killed his adoptive father.

And before his death, his adoptive father bestowed upon him the name of slaughter: Horus.

Horus, now possessing his own name, activated the power within him.

The dormant genes awakened and reshaped his body, causing him to grow rapidly and become a powerful Primarch, who was then brought before the Emperor by the Sage Mechanicus.

"Is this a Primarch? Such a powerful oppressive aura, a god walking among mortals in human form. No wonder they attract the covetous gaze of the gods."

Raven marveled inwardly.

He did not mention Horus's future betrayal to the Emperor.

The predetermined fate of the Warhammer universe had already changed significantly due to his intervention.

The future was no longer set in stone.

Horus's betrayal was not an inevitable event.

It was also possible that the Second Empire would betray the First Empire, the Big Three would gang up on the Emperor, and Horus would save him, always being just nine hours too late.

"Who are you?" Horus looked at the Emperor, feeling a sense of familiarity.

"You can think of me as your father, for I created you with my own hands," the Emperor said. "But some people stole you away from me."

Raven, watching the father and son interact so affectionately, felt a bit bored.

After confirming that the Emperor would not rashly hand over the XVI Legion, the Shadow, to Horus, He flapped his wings and flew away.

He landed on the shoulder of Waldo, who was standing guard at the entrance.

"There's something I need you to do, Big Corn Cob."

Waldo said in a teasing tone, "Have you taken a liking to the Ketchup and Fries of some world again? The loyal Custodes will fight for your Fries and Ketchup."

"I like your attitude, but I prefer your old tsundere demeanor,"

Raven retorted with a bit of venom before continuing.

"I'll give you a star chart. Send a few Custodes squads to the worlds I've marked and retrieve the Big Guy's things."

After meeting Horus, Raven realized the value of the Primarchs.

When it came to creating gods, the mainstream civilizations of the Super God Universe were not enough; one had to look to the Big Guy.

This guy created true gods.

Even in the Marvel universe, he could go toe-to-toe with the Eight Demon Gods.

Although he didn't want the Primarchs to directly control legions, thus planting the seeds of rebellion in the Empire, Powerful individuals like the Primarchs could not fall into the hands of the Chaos Gods either.

Raven decided to have the Custodes retrieve them in advance and place them under the Empire's control.

"You'd better take this seriously. If you mess this up, Big Corn Cob, you'll really be sent to guard the fish pond."

"Don't worry," Waldo said. "Where's the first target?"

"Nukeria," Raven replied.

PS: Young Horus.

Couldn't find a picture of him with hair.
