Knock, knock!
A knock sounded at the door. The visitor made no attempt to hide his footsteps, and Naruto, who had been prepared upon hearing them, promptly spoke. "Come in!"
The one who pushed open the door and entered was none other than Kakashi Hatake, whom Shikaku Nara had said had moved into the prison and had been "mutually mentally tormenting" Hiruzen Sarutobi.
He looked utterly haggard. The dark circles beneath his eyes were so heavy they looked like smoky eye makeup, and combined with the black mask Kakashi never willingly removed,
it seemed he intended to completely hide his entire face, along with his grief.
But it did not seem to be working. His terrible mental state was plainly visible. No wonder Shikaku had said he was worrying...
Wrapped in an intense aura of sorrow and exhaustion, Kakashi silently handed Naruto a document.
Daren Yi was rather curious. After hesitating for a while, he could not help asking him:
"How are things between you and Hiruzen Sarutobi now?
With Might Guy acting alongside you, what did Hiruzen Sarutobi... say?"
Daren Yi was truly, truly curious about this. What could Hiruzen Sarutobi possibly have said?
"He confessed! He admitted to a whole series of crimes he committed against Obito, as well as all the sins he committed by controlling Obito."
Kakashi answered blandly.
But Daren Yi was stunned, utterly dumbfounded!
No, those things had never happened in the first place.
How exactly had Hiruzen Sarutobi confessed them to you?!
That was impossible!
I was the one who framed him. How could I not know how innocent he was?
And he actually admitted it?
Kakashi, you really did torture a confession out of the prisoner, didn't you?
