Daren Yi exposed the Uchiha massacre and implicated Hiruzen Sarutobi while gathering allies through the Shamate Organization. As the Hyuga Clan called for a transparent investigation, Daren drew Naruto into a dream that confronted him with his parents and his own past.

• After Izumi Uchiha died during the Uchiha Clan Downfall, Daren Yi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan and used his Deep Blue Stat System to strengthen himself.
• Daren Yi revived Izumi Uchiha, recovered the Uchiha corpses, and attacked Shimura Danzō while posing as Shisui Uchiha.
• Daren Yi broadcast accusations against Hiruzen Sarutobi, displayed the Uchiha corpses, and used Perfect Susanoo to deter Konohagakure’s ninja.
• Daren Yi revealed Root’s experiments and accused Hiruzen of enabling Obito Uchiha’s transformation, while Kakashi Hatake and other witnesses demanded answers.
• Daren Yi took Sasuke Uchiha to safety and introduced Izumi Uchiha to the Shamate Organization, whose members hailed him as their Ancestor.

Naruto learned the truth about his parents, gained the Nine-Tails’ cooperation, and became Acting Hokage after Hiruzen Sarutobi fell. As he began reforming the village, Daren Yi prepared the Konoha 11 for a future fight and revealed Naruto’s hidden family ties.

• Daren Yi revealed Naruto’s dream of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki’s final moments, then persuaded the Nine-Tails to cooperate with Naruto.
• Naruto learned from Kakashi Hatake that he was Minato and Kushina’s son, while Kakashi and Izumi Uchiha exposed Hiruzen Sarutobi’s role in Naruto’s mistreatment.
• Naruto confronted Hiruzen, gained Kurama’s Chakra, and forced him to surrender as the village learned Naruto’s identity.
• Daren Yi captured Shimura Danzō, took the Konoha 11 through Root’s cruel laboratories, and ordered Root’s assets and survivors dealt with.
• As Acting Hokage, Naruto examined the village’s records and proposed reforms to reduce young ninja deaths and expand civilian ninja’s access to training.
• Daren Yi harvested fruits from trees rooted in the Nine-Tails, shared them with Naruto and Izumi Uchiha, and connected Naruto and the fox to his Mind World.
• Daren Yi gathered the Konoha 11 and told them to debut as idols, then revealed that Minato Namikaze descended from Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju and that Jiraiya and Tsunade were his parents.
• Naruto realized Jiraiya was his grandfather and silently promised Minato and Jiraiya that he understood their inherited love.

Daren Yi helped Naruto and the Konoha 11 awaken new powers while Naruto pursued reforms and prepared Konohagakure for mounting pressure from the other villages. Tsunade returned to meet Naruto, and Kakashi faced the newly trained Konoha 11 in a bell test.

• Daren Yi taught Naruto to awaken Wood Style and proposed the Red Dust Immortal Path, while Naruto vowed to forge his own way forward.
• Daren Yi offered the Konoha 11 Deep Blue Fruits to help them cultivate Shamate Sage Mode, and several immediately accepted the risks.
• Shikaku told Daren Yi that the other Four Great Shinobi Villages had aligned against Konohagakure, and Daren Yi demanded investigations into four clans’ illegal gains in exchange for Uchiha support for Naruto.
• Kakashi gave Naruto Hiruzen Sarutobi’s confession, and Hiruzen admitted his compromises and asked Naruto not to become like him.
• Daren Yi guided the Konoha 11 through their Sage Mode trials, and Naruto’s Wood Style created a vast forest that damaged part of the village.
• Tsunade returned to Konohagakure, met Naruto at the orphanage, gave him Hashirama’s necklace, and later confronted Jiraiya over rumors about Naruto’s parentage.
• Daren Yi explained to Tsunade how Naruto’s reforms had improved the Shamate’s lives, while Naruto continued his work as Hokage.
• Kakashi began a bell test against the Konoha 11, who entered Shamate Sage Mode together, and Daren Yi announced that the battle was about to begin.

Daren Yi awakened the Rinnegan and confronted Hagoromo Otsutsuki, then returned to the upheavals surrounding Naruto, the Chunin Exam, and the rival villages. The arc left the Kage arguing over Konoha’s influence as an unseen voice interrupted them.

• Kakashi tested the Konoha 11, outmaneuvered their attacks, and surrendered the bells after Sasuke and Neji briefly seized one.
• Naruto welcomed Yakushi Nonō and Kabuto Yakushi into Konoha’s service and his family, while Daren Yi prepared the Konoha 11 for the Joint Chunin Exam.
• Rasa, Yagura, Ōnoki, and A gathered to oppose Konoha’s influence, but Naruto’s Wood Style overwhelmed the assembled shinobi and left them unconscious.
• Daren Yi evolved his Mangekyō Sharingan into the Rinnegan and clashed with Hagoromo Otsutsuki, who then agreed to become his companion and revealed his growing detachment from the world.
• Naruto gained the Nine-Tails’ chakra to train for the coming Otsutsuki threat, while Daren Yi and Hagoromo discussed the Chunin Exam and Tobirama Senju.
• Orochimaru revived Tobirama Senju, who confirmed that Jiraiya was his son, while Obito urged Orochimaru to use the revived shinobi against Konoha.
