"Lex, I've run into a little trouble. I'm flying toward your manor now. Get ready." Clark tapped the watch on his wrist.

"Don't worry, I saw it a while ago." Lex's voice came from the watch. "I found information on the guy chasing you. He's from an Injustice League in some universe."

"The Injustice League?"

"Yes. In some universes, you used your power to rule the world, killed everyone who opposed you, established a Superman regime, and formed an organization with the superheroes who submitted to him—the exact opposite of the Justice League, the 'Injustice League.'"

"That's childish as hell," Clark snorted.

"That assessment is fair." Lex sounded relaxed. "From what I've observed, no Superman regime has ever succeeded. But Batman doesn't win every time, either. Some of them got screwed over pretty badly."

"What about the other pair?"

"Still unclear, but they seem to have a good relationship. You know that isn't good news."

In the blink of an eye, Clark brought Bruce above Luthor Manor. He descended slowly, and just as he landed on the manor's rooftop, a blue protective barrier rose around it.

Injustice Superman's Cyclops laser struck the barrier without leaving even a ripple. Clark shot him a mocking look, carried Bruce inside the manor, and disappeared within.

The other Superman, meanwhile, stopped with Batman on the roof of a nearby building.

"Am I dreaming?" Batman said. "This universe's Superman attacked us with Heat Vision, then brought this universe's Batman to this universe's Lex's home. I have to ask, what exactly is their relationship?"

Superman scratched his head as well. "It doesn't look like they're forcing Lex... I mean, it doesn't look like Lex is forcing them either."

"That guy is looking over here," Batman said. "We should leave first and figure out what our mission
