Sitting in the passenger seat, Bruce first slid the seat back, then reclined it and sprawled there, playing on his phone.

As the car rounded a corner, Bruce glanced at the rearview mirror, then turned to look at Clark.

"We're being followed," Clark said. "I noticed three minutes ago. Since I didn't say anything, I was planning to pretend I hadn't seen them. You don't need to keep hinting for me to react."

"Fine." Bruce tilted his head. "But I'm sure he'll soon find an opportunity to make you stop."

"He won't get that opportunity."

The moment Clark finished speaking, a car came spinning toward them from the intersection ahead. It looked as though brake failure had thrown it out of control. Through the windshield, they could see the driver's panicked face.

Clark expressionlessly stepped on the gas, with no intention of stopping. When the car was only two meters from crashing into them, a black car suddenly shot out from the side and slammed its accelerator into the out-of-control car's left rear, shoveling it onto the roadside across the street. Clark's car slipped past just like that.

Bruce sat up straight and looked over. The driver of the black car happened to glance their way as well, giving them a reassuring look.

"Lex is getting more and more imposing," Bruce said with a yawn. "How many people did he send?"

"Every car you can see in the rearview mirror belongs to him," Clark said, focused on driving. "Most of the cars in the opposite lane are his too."

"Born to be an Agent Leader," Bruce commented. Then he suddenly said through gritted teeth, "He definitely used some of my money. Wayne Enterprises is practically being squeezed out of existence by him!"
