That enormous phantom silently dissipated, leaving only streaks of fading light deep within the chaotic, murky clouds. Beside the helm, Miss Doll suddenly blinked, as if her soul had returned to this shell, and her expression became lively once more.
She raised her head as though still watching some rapidly vanishing figure in the void, then happily lifted her hand and waved hard in that direction twice. "Goodbye! Goodbye!"

Duncan's voice came from beside her. Alice turned around and saw the captain and Miss Vana standing nearby. Both wore somewhat strange expressions, and Vana kept glancing up at the sky, as if some unbelievable sight were still floating there.
"Navigator Two!" Alice said happily, making no attempt to hide what had just happened. "Just now, I felt like I connected with the Lost Homeland, and then I crashed into Goat Head, and Agatha shattered all over the place, but she kneaded herself back together. Then I saw Navigator Two. It said it came over to say hello, and I saw a huge ship flying among the stars, and I had a dream too. The dream was amazing! I flew so fast! And, and..."
