Xiao Ran led Londo Bell away from the Federation and brought the allied forces together as the Victory Fleet, while revelations about Renard and the Original Constitution changed their view of the war. At Third Tokyo City, the fleet intervened in Unit-01’s rampage and faced a battle between an Apostle and the DRAGONs, ending with Xiao Ran firing on the Apostle.

• Luo and the Orb technicians began redesigning the Yajenar PMs, while Ange and the First Squadron prepared for training aboard the Burning Legion.
• Bright rejected Brown Baltak’s orders, declared Londo Bell independent, and joined Xiao Ran in fighting the Federation forces after Xiao Ran rescued the Nir-Akama crew.
• Xiao Ran told Bright that the Federation had caused the Laplace Satellite explosion and concealed the Original Constitution, prompting Bright to accept that the Federation had become an oppressor.
• Bright brought Londo Bell to Merida Island, where the commanders formed the Victory Fleet and Xiao Ran explained Renard’s efforts to gain control of Amalgam and pursue peace.
• Richard reported the Far East Army’s defeat and issued the CODE: ANGEL alert, so Ruri Hoshino transported the fleet to Third Tokyo City, where Unit-01 was fighting Great Mazinger and Federation forces.
• Kouji Kabuto broke Unit-01’s AT Field and stopped its rampage, while a new Angel appeared and a rift released countless DRAGONs above Tokyo-3.
• Xiao Ran ordered the fleet to withdraw from the DRAGONs as they attacked the Angel, but the Angel tore through them, leading Shin, Kira, Gido, Ange, and the others to join the fight.
• Xiao Ran gathered energy in Darkness Sky’s weapon and fired a blue-and-gold beam at the Apostle as it swung its energy whips toward him.

The Victory Fleet gained NERV’s support, uncovered a possible route back to the Western Calendar World, and battled Doctor Hell’s forces as Tetsuya tried to take Ryoma away. The arrival of the DRAGONs and Salamantine’s challenge left Xiao Ran preparing to meet her without his machine.

• Xiao Ran killed the Apostle, then told the fleet commanders that the DRAGONs should be treated as comrades and might originally have been humans from this world.
• Gendo Ikari welcomed the Victory Fleet to NERV, promised logistical support, and offered Unit-01 and Unit-00 to the fleet while keeping the fight against the Angels NERV’s priority.
• Xiao Ran reviewed Gendo’s materials on the EVAs, while Tetsuya asked to leave the fleet and take Ryoma Nagare with him, and Xiao Ran let him go without an explanation.
• Miss Huang and Ruri Hoshino found that DRAGON jump fluctuations might allow a return to the Western Calendar World, and Xiao Ran planned to send the Nadeshiko and Ptolemaios while the Burning Legion stayed behind.
• The fleet fought Doctor Hell’s Mechanical Beast Legion, and Xiao Ran sensed a mysterious force around Kouji Kabuto’s Mazinger Z as Tetsuya intervened to help Baron Ashura escape.

• Salamantine challenged Xiao Ran and Ange to meet her without their machines, and Xiao Ran accepted while ordering the fleet to continue its original plan.

Xiao Ran joined forces with the Dragon Kingdom, learned the truth about its world, and returned to the Victory Fleet to confront AmbriO. After devastating an attack on Yajenar and launching an assault on the Founding United Nations, Xiao Ran found Ange held hostage by AmbriO and searched for a way to rescue her.

• Xiao Ran and Ange entered the Dragon Kingdom, where Sarah and the Great Witch questioned his intentions before revealing that the Dragon Race descended from humans altered by Element Luan and that AmbriO had helped destroy their world.
• Xiao Ran learned that Element Luan sustained the Founding United Nations’ Mana and that DRAGON sacrificed themselves to replenish Aura, then gained Sarah’s agreement to let his unit enter the Dragon Kingdom.
• AmbriO appeared before Xiao Ran, threatened the women around him, and announced an attack on Yajenar, prompting Xiao Ran to return with Ange and Sarah to the Victory Fleet.
• Xiao Ran rallied the Victory Fleet to stop AmbriO, rescue Aura, and prepare for attacks across three worlds, while Juzo Okita took command of the forces remaining behind.
• A coalition attacked Yajenar, and Xiao Ran used Dawn and four Darkness Sky units to devastate the attackers before appealing to the soldiers to stop fighting each other.
• Xiao Ran’s assault destroyed most of the enemy force, and he ordered AmbriO’s supporters purged while assigning forces to prepare an immediate operation against the Founding United Nations.
• Xiao Ran’s fleet fought through the drone defenses and advanced toward the Pillar of Dawn, where AmbriO revealed Ange captive beside HYSTERICA.

Xiao Ran killed AmbriO in the Dimensional Rift, then gathered the Victory Fleet and prepared for its return to the New Chronology World. At Tokyo-3, the fleet fought the Angels and intervened in the war between the Earth Federation and New Zeon, leaving both sides to reconsider their conflict.

• Renard killed AmbriO, but a second AmbriO and the Dragon God Aura appeared as Ange’s dimensional attack collided with his and threw the team into the void between worlds.
• Xiao Ran led the fleet to Yajenar, where he unleashed the GN Solar Furnaces against AmbriO’s countless copies and used their deaths to terrify AmbriO until he died.
• Xiao Ran collapsed from the backlash and woke seven days later, while the fleet learned how he had defeated AmbriO and heard reports about the worlds and their unfinished missions.
• Xiao Ran organized new command and technical teams, investigated the forces behind the worlds’ conflicts, and accepted Juzo Okita’s trust in him to handle the Yamato and the New Chronology World.
• The Victory Fleet arrived at Tokyo-3 and helped NERV repel the Earth Federation, but Ray Angel’s appearance halted their battle and forced the factions to face a common threat.
• As the fleet attacked Ray Angel, New Zeon launched a surprise assault, and the Federation and Victory Fleet turned to stop its advance while Asuka and the pilots fought the Angels.
• Basak and the pilots destroyed Ray Angel, while Shinji, Rei, and others engaged the second Angel and New Zeon continued fighting the fleet.
• The Federation and New Zeon both fought alongside the Victory Fleet against the Angels, then faced Xiao Ran as he urged them to choose peace over profit.
