Inside the enormous mountain at the center of the Chaos Realm
Within the vast space once rich in Chaos Source, the concentration was now only half of what it had been. The other half had become a contaminated zone mixed with large amounts of void leakage. The area containing this substance was almost mutually repulsive with Ling, and around the void-contaminated zone, one could clearly see the evolutionary process of an environment entering a state of disintegration.
The shattered corridor had broken apart during the void eruption. A figure appeared at the entrance to the enormous space.
It was Tian Hua, who had failed the Apostle Assessment and come here in response to Azathoth's summons. In the end, he had recklessly used the power of Azathoth within his body to pass the assessment easily. That, too, had been Tian Hua's own decision.
During his fight with Zhang Chen, had Azathoth not implanted a small portion of his true body into Tian Hua beforehand, Tian Hua would have had no chance of surviving at all. Such humiliation was something Tian Hua's proud nature could never accept.
He had stood on the same platform as Zhang Chen for the assessment, yet he had suffered such a crushing defeat. Tian Hua's powerful self-esteem could not permit such humiliation and failure. Thus, Tian Hua believed that after such a defeat, he was utterly unqualified to obtain the position of an Apostle. He therefore chose an extreme course of action and gave up his qualification for the Apostle Assessment.
While Tian Hua had been sinking into despair, Azathoth began guiding his thoughts, ultimately causing him to abandon everything and come here alone.
