After defeating Gilgamesh, Chang Wei entered the Holy Grail War with Medea and Scathach and confronted the allied Masters and Servants at the Einzbern castle. He transformed into the Ancestral Dragon and fought Scathach and Heracles, while the Reincarnators’ attempt to break his Great Wall with Saber’s Excalibur failed.

• Chang Wei defeated Gilgamesh with the Heaven Shaking Divine Bow, leaving Fuyuki City devastated and Rin Tohsaka determined to win the Holy Grail and restore it.
• Chang Wei and Scathach attacked the Matou estate, then accepted an alliance with Matou Zouken after Kirei Kotomine revealed Gilgamesh’s defeat.
• Rin Tohsaka and Chang Wei went to the Einzbern castle, where Illya gathered the other Masters and Servants to confront them.
• Chang Wei’s Golden Men fought Heracles, Cú Chulainn, and Medusa, but Medusa shattered the statues and charged him on Pegasus.
• Chang Wei transformed into the Ancestral Dragon, swallowed Pegasus, and crushed Cú Chulainn after the spear failed to injure him.
• Scathach attacked the dragon with her spears after Chang Wei used a Command Spell to order her to return alive, while Heracles fought Chang Wei’s Godslayer Crossbow.
• Chang Wei trapped Scathach and Heracles inside the Indestructible Great Wall, and the Reincarnators sent Saber to break it.
• Saber’s Excalibur struck the Great Wall twice, but it reassembled after the first blow and withstood the second.

Chang Wei destroyed the corrupted Holy Grail, then brought Scathach into Main God Space and built Noxus into a powerful faction in the Empire’s south. As Esdeath marched south to confront them, she and Scathach began a fierce duel that remained unresolved.

• Shirou Emiya used a Command Spell to release Saber’s restraints, but Chang Wei’s arrows shattered her sword and killed her despite the protection of Avalon.
• Chang Wei revealed the corrupted Holy Grail’s black mud, then used Rin Tohsaka’s Command Spells and the Godslayer Crossbow to destroy the mud, shatter the Golden Cup, and seal the rift.
• Chang Wei took Scathach from the Type-Moon Universe to Main God Space and explained its missions, exchanges, and world rules.
• Chang Wei and Scathach founded Noxus in the Empire’s south, recruited and trained soldiers, captured a city, and expanded their influence while repelling Imperial attacks.
• The Southern Noxus Kingdom became a recognized faction, and Scathach led its armies to seize cities as Chang Wei built its forces and organized its territory.
• Minister Honest redirected Esdeath toward Noxus after she defeated the Northern Tribes, and Chang Wei and Scathach met her army in the south.
• Scathach killed Daidas and overwhelmed Liva before Esdeath stepped forward to fight the Queen of Noxus.
• Scathach pierced Esdeath’s Ice Armor, shattered her ice meteor with Gáe Bolg, and kicked her away after blocking her follow-up sword strike.

Chang Wei used Esdeath to expose and defeat the Empire’s forces and the Revolutionary Army’s assassins, then captured Akame and challenged her beliefs. He released Akame expecting her ideas to disrupt the Revolutionary Army, and she returned to Night Raid with news of his power.

• Scathach defeated and captured Esdeath, and Chang Wei petrified her pursuing army before bringing her to Noxus.
• Chang Wei offered Esdeath a place in Noxus, gave her the Ice Fists, and assigned her to lead the Emperor’s Sharp Blades against the Empire’s spies and assassins.
• Esdeath used the Empire’s belief that she was a prisoner to draw its Imperial Arms users into an attack, then killed three Reincarnators and captured survivors for interrogation.
• Night Raid and Revolutionary Army Reincarnators tried to assassinate Esdeath, but Chang Wei appeared, devoured a Blood Shadow Clone, and defeated the Mighty Bull Demon King with a Simulated Black Hole.
• Chang Wei’s black hole swallowed the attacking Reincarnators, while Esdeath returned to the palace with him and Scathach guarded the roof.
• After the assassination attempt failed, Chang Wei captured Akame and tried to persuade her that the Revolutionary Army lacked clear goals and ideology.
• Chang Wei released Akame despite expecting her reform efforts to fail and cause turmoil within the Revolutionary Army.
• Akame found Night Raid’s relocated camp and told Najenda and the others that Chang Wei had personally killed the Revolutionary Army’s powerful fighters.

Akame and Najenda turned from the Revolutionary Army and brought Night Raid to Noxus, while Li Si weakened Minister Honest and prepared the Empire’s defenses. As Noxus surrounded the capital, Li Si transformed the Guardian Machine God, which unleashed devastating attacks on the Noxian army.

• Najenda brought Akame’s advice to the Revolutionary Army, whose leaders put her under house arrest, while Akame left to investigate.
• Scathach captured Shira, then killed his Reincarnators and subordinates when they attacked her assassins.
• Najenda learned that the Revolutionary Army had allied with non-native forces, and she and Night Raid chose to seek citizenship in Noxus.
• Chang Wei gave Akame authority to act on Noxus’s behalf and tasked her group with resolving the invasion, even if it meant confronting former allies.
• Li Si gained the Little Emperor’s trust, drove Minister Honest’s faction into decline, and persuaded Horse Head and Suzuka to surrender.
• Li Si entered the Supreme Throne and began transforming the Guardian Machine God as Noxus surrounded the Imperial Capital.
• The Guardian Machine God emerged as a winged Giant Soldier and fired a crimson beam that devastated Noxian troops.
• Li Si ordered the Guardian Machine God to fire its cannons, and Noxus’s Reincarnators launched a counterattack with Explosion.
