After Aizen escaped Soul Society, Ichigo helped Isshin and the Visoreds awaken their Berserker powers while Kenpachi gathered followers in Karakura Town. Aizen created a Berserk Menos Grande that Retsu Unohana killed, then sent Grimmjow to hunt Berserkers in the World of the Living.

• Yamamoto and Shunsui fought Kenpachi, but Kenpachi defeated Shunsui and lost his captaincy as Aizen attacked Soul Society and wounded Byakuya.
• Rukia’s berserker power let her overwhelm Aizen, and Ichigo pierced Aizen’s Inverse Membrane before Aizen escaped to Hueco Mundo.
• Yoruichi warned Kisuke that Berserkers could transform Soul Reapers and humans, while Ichigo disbanded his group and helped Isshin choose to become a Berserker to pursue the truth about Masaki’s death.
• Ikkaku, Yumichika, and other Soul Reapers joined Kenpachi in Karakura Town, while Ichigo taught the Visoreds to control their Hollow powers through fighting intent.
• Aizen fused a Berserker Soul with a Gillian, creating a Berserk Menos Grande that evolved through battle and overwhelmed Komamura, Byakuya, and Mayuri.
• Retsu disrupted the Berserk Menos Grande’s regeneration and killed it, after which the Soul Reapers withdrew from Hueco Mundo.
• Aizen ordered Arrancar to capture Berserkers, and Grimmjow followed a faint power fluctuation to an abandoned industrial district where young people were fighting.

Grimmjow was defeated by Kenpachi and recruited into the Berserkers while Ichigo awakened overwhelming power to repel Yammy’s invasion. The Berserkers invaded Hueco Mundo, where Ichigo battled Aizen’s transformed Espada and reached a new level of Absolute Power, leaving Aizen watching as the Hogyoku turned toward Ichigo.

• Grimmjow fought Ikkaku Madarame and then Kenpachi Zaraki, who defeated him, identified himself as the Berserkers’ general, and recruited him.
• Kenpachi declared war on Hueco Mundo as Hollows attacked Karakura Town, where Ichigo Kurosaki defeated Nnoitra and faced Yammy’s gigantic 0 Espada form.
• Chang Wei helped Ichigo accept his inner power, and Ichigo destroyed Yammy’s Black Cero and defeated him with a single blast.
• Ichigo and Kenpachi led the Berserkers through a passage into Hueco Mundo, where Aizen used the Hogyoku to transform the Espada and sought more Berserkers’ souls.
• Kenpachi destroyed Szayelaporro Granz, while Ichigo’s overwhelming power stunned the Hollows and Berserkers at Las Noches.
• Grimmjow fought Tier Harribel, who accepted Chang Wei’s title of Limit-Breaking Kingly Hollow, and Kenpachi battled her as Ichigo faced Ulquiorra, Stark, and Barragan.
• Ichigo absorbed and overcame the Espada’s attacks, then drew in Hueco Mundo’s spirit particles and reached a high realm of Absolute Power.
• Ichigo broke Stark’s Hundred Hollow Flash and struck him with a 190,000-horsepower Serious Beating, while Aizen sensed that the Hogyoku in his chest wanted to go to Ichigo.

Ichigo Kurosaki and Sosuke Aizen pushed their powers beyond their limits, and their battle shattered Hueco Mundo while transforming the balance of the worlds. After Aizen defeated Ichigo and seized the Soul Society, he brought down the Soul King Palace and faced Zero Division.

• Ichigo Kurosaki endured Barragan Luisenbarn’s Death Aura, awakened his Imperial Undying Body, and devoured Barragan’s Power of Decay with World Devourer.
• Ulquiorra awakened his Second Resurrección and challenged Ichigo Kurosaki, who accelerated his power and learned to strengthen his body with spirit particles.
• Sosuke Aizen used the Hogyoku to evolve, then battled Ichigo Kurosaki with Absolute Will as both fighters continued breaking through their limits.
• Ichigo Kurosaki and Aizen’s clashes ruptured the boundary between Hueco Mundo and Soul Society, forcing Hollows and Soul Reapers to confront the spreading crisis.
• Aizen fused with the Hogyoku’s will and unleashed a Big Bang that destroyed Hueco Mundo, defeated Ichigo Kurosaki, and shattered the Hogyoku.
• Aizen turned Hollows into Berserkers, led them into Soul Society, trapped the Seireitei and Wandenreich in a Black Coffin, and declared himself king of the Soul Society.
• Aizen destroyed the Soul King Palace’s defenses and brought it down onto the Seireitei, where Ichibei Hyosube and Zero Division confronted him.
• Tenshiro Kirinji was crushed by Aizen’s Spiritual Pressure, and Senjumaru Shuhtara revealed that she had placed a spiked coat on Aizen.

Aizen, Yhwach, the Soul King, Ichigo, and Hell fought over the fate of the Three Realms, until Ichigo defeated Hell and overcame Aizen. Ichigo established a New World and then watched visions of his former life with his family and Chang Wei.

• Nimaiya Oetsu attacked Aizen with Sayafushi, but Aizen’s Spiritual Pressure shattered the blade and killed Nimaiya with a fragment.
• Aizen defeated Ichibei, entered the Soul King’s Palace, and faced the awakened Soul King, who severed his connections to the Three Realms.
• Yhwach recovered his past memories, forged Absolute Will, and returned to battle Aizen as the Soul King joined the fight.
• The Soul King and Aizen fought at full strength, and Aizen’s attack destroyed Soul Society and the World of the Living as Hell began to stir.
• Ichigo Kurosaki confronted Aizen, but Hell interrupted their battle and spread its miasma across the world.
• Ichigo absorbed and destroyed Hell’s miasma, then fought alongside Aizen and the Soul King to defeat Hell and restore the land.
• Ichigo established the New World’s order and defeated Aizen, who dissipated after his will collapsed.
