Soldier Boy then appeared in a different world, where the military presented him as a new Captain America while S.H.I.E.L.D. investigated his origins and pursued Dr. Lizardman.

• Sebastian Shaw shattered Captain America’s shield and beat him, but Chang Wei stopped time and killed Shaw by interrupting his energy absorption.
• Chang Wei’s victory made the public see him as a protector, while Vought accepted liquidation and Compound Five spread among criminals, companies, and governments.
• Homelander took the God of Regret’s pill and returned to the moment he had given Compound Five to terrorists, where Future Homelander killed them and then killed him.
• Future Homelander took Homelander’s place at Vought, while Chang Wei brought Soldier Boy to the Marvel World, where military officials held him under surveillance.
• The military sent Soldier Boy to fight Dr. Lizardman and broadcast an edited version of the battle as propaganda, while Nick Fury ordered S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate him.

Dr. Connors’s Lizardman campaign escalated into an armed assault on New York, drawing Tony Stark into battle. Chang Wei transformed Connors with Ancient Lizard Serum, and Tony’s fight with the newly empowered creature continued as Connors fed on radioactive material.

• Dr. Connors found a Dragon Ball, but the Lizard Serum’s evil consciousness took control and drove him to seek the others.
• Dr. Lizardman fought Ivan Vanko’s Mechanical Soldiers, escaped their bombardment, and began recruiting Lizardmen by using serum on disabled veterans.
• Dr. Lizardman stole Osborn Industries’ serum-production equipment, while Tony Stark traced the attacks to Connors and suspected secret experiments at the Veterans Hospital.
• Dr. Lizardman armed his followers and led them through the sewers, where Tony’s Iron Man suits attacked and were damaged by the Lizardmen’s armor and ambushes.
• Tony entered the sewers in his upgraded Mark 20 and used plasma weapons to devastate the Lizardman Army, but Dr. Lizardman escaped underground.
• Chang Wei immobilized Dr. Lizardman and injected him with Ancient Lizard Serum, transforming him into a massive, armored creature with an atomic reactor and Atomic Breath.
• Tony fought the transformed Connors, who adapted to his attacks and retaliated with a Heat Ray, then survived missiles and suffered severe burns from Tony’s Plasma Jet.

Professor Connors survived his battle with Hulk by evolving into a radiation-consuming Lizardman, then pursued greater power through Godzilla genes. He transformed Norman Osborn to produce Godzilla Larvae and forced Norman to secure radioactive material, while Harry remained unaware of the plan.
