Chang Wei harvested mutant abilities, provoked a global nuclear war, and built a world divided between rival mutant powers. As Magneto and Charles prepared to oppose him, Charles reached Chang Wei through a hidden mental attack.

• Emperor Kong transformed and battled Godzilla until Godzilla exploded in an Energy Storm, leaving Chang Wei to reclaim his Gene Points and leave the world.
• Chang Wei entered Oshinvis, devoured Sebastian Shaw, and began collecting mutant X Genes, including those of Wolverine, Sabretooth, Magneto, Charles, and Darwin.
• Chang Wei evolved Magnetic Field Rotation and Super Survival of the Fittest, then became the Phoenix Force’s host and ordered the Divine Light Virus to devour it.
• Chang Wei triggered a nuclear crisis and escalated it into worldwide nuclear war, awakening vast numbers of mutants as Magneto, Charles, and future Magneto recognized his role.
• Chang Wei absorbed Tianqi, irradiated the world, and harvested mutant powers while Charles and Magneto formed the Hell Organization to contain the chaos.

Chang Wei escalated his experiments into a campaign that destroyed the Solar System, then rebuilt it and absorbed the Dark Phoenix. He left with Deadpool for another world, arriving during the events of X-Men: The Last Stand.

• Chang Wei developed an intelligence business that fueled conflicts between mutant factions, while Dr. Bolivar Trask built Sentinel Robots and turned Wolverine and Sabretooth against Master Illusion.
• Chang Wei attacked Cyclops and Jean Grey, killing Scott and driving Jean away from Charles as she vowed to become an Emperor.
• Chang Wei forced Deadpool to help him travel between worlds, then killed Satan, God, the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and millions of mutants.

He then joined the Victory Team, where Daigo awakened Tiga and Chang Wei prepared to transform as new monster reports emerged.

• Chang Wei absorbed Jean Grey’s Phoenix Force, completed the system upgrade, and crossed into a new world after the Marvel editors tried to expel him.
• Chang Wei arrived at Lanruo Temple, met Yan Chixia, and traveled to the capital, where he helped the Old Emperor expose demons among the court officials.
• Chang Wei equipped Left Qianhu to hunt demons, then revealed the court’s centipede demons and confronted Pudu Cihang as it returned to the capital.
• Chang Wei forced Pudu Cihang through the Five Elements Heavenly Tribulation, revived it after each deadly trial, and burned it to ash after it emerged as a Yellow Dragon.
• Chang Wei entered the Underworld, took Black Mountain Old Demon’s cultivation method and memories, and created a powerful Dharma Body capable of commanding souls.

Chang Wei helped the Victory Team fight new monsters and built humanity’s first Mechanical Ultramen, while Keigo Masaki targeted the Giants and their machines. After Chang Wei nearly died defending the team, TPC faced renewed Giliruroid attacks and debated whether Ultraman could be trusted.

• Chang Wei and the Victory Team fought the Gakumas, and Chang Wei appeared as Ultraman Lucifer to help defeat them.
• After Rigelgon attacked a high-purity energy station, Chang Wei proposed a Mechanical Giant, and TPC built Unit-01 with him as its pilot.
• Chang Wei used Unit-01 to destroy the regenerating Silvazan, and Horii later developed Unit-02 for other pilots.
• Chang Wei mastered Unit-02 during testing, then Horii added AI assistance and upgraded Unit-01, which Chang Wei renamed Strike Freedom Ultraman.
• Shinjoh destroyed Gazort with Unit-02, prompting Horii to object that the team had killed the Lightning Human instead of seeking communication.
• Keigo Masaki used his Light Genetic Particle Converter and targeted the Ultraman units, while Gaozark attacked the base where Horii was building Unit-03.
