Tap! Tap! Tap!
Chu Qing and Madam Shi strolled up the mountain along the flagstone path.
Neither moved particularly fast, admiring the scenery as they walked.
The scenery here was truly exquisite.
It was not inferior in the slightest to the landscapes nourished by the earth veins of Stone Ridge Mountain.
Madam Shi occasionally stopped.
Sometimes she stood amid flowers; sometimes she stood in a mountain stream.
The two Mythology warriors following them increasingly sensed that something was wrong.
"These two really don't seem to be from the Divine Mountain region."
"What should we do?"
"Should we contact the others?"
The two whispered, their hearts tangled with indecision.
They feared they had guessed wrong.
Yet they also feared they had guessed right.
If they guessed wrong, the Great Figures above would rebuke them, perhaps even come to despise them.
But if they guessed right...
If these people truly were outsiders, and dared swagger into this place, then they undoubtedly had methods and skill.
Could the two of them afford to provoke people like that?
Before long, the two reached the mountaintop.
The summit had been carved into an enormous platform, with countless palaces scattered around it.
Madam Shi occasionally deduced the workings of Heaven, checking the coordinates and locking onto Luo Feifan's location.
They passed through palace after palace.
Along the way, some people noticed them, but most paid them no mind.
Only a small number looked somewhat suspicious.
Madam Shi's icy temperament was simply too unfamiliar.
Gradually, more and more Mythology members began following behind them.
The two still did not care.
Very soon:
They passed through layer upon layer of palaces and arrived at the core area.
There was a great hall here:
The hall was packed with people.
The courtyard outside the hall was packed as well.
