Limitations

History

Li Shengtian was a Martial Saint who killed countless Fierce Beasts and made major contributions to humanity roughly three centuries before Chen Mo discovered his remains. After being severely wounded by several Legendary Fierce Beasts, Li Shengtian disappeared and later died; his death was revealed through the blood rain that accompanies a human Martial Saint's fall. He created an Abyss Rift to preserve his inheritance and asked future inheritors to hunt Fierce Beasts, protect his descendants when possible, and pass on his cultivation method. 158

During the Linjiang City crisis, an unidentified armored figure defeated an Emperor Grade Fierce Beast and was publicly believed to be a Martial Saint. Zhang Wuji later failed to locate the rescuer due to the limits of his Space Law. Chen Mo eventually confirmed that he was the mysterious Saint of War who had saved the city. 301 348

Chen Mo formally advanced to Martial Saint at eighteen years old, becoming the youngest known Saint of War. Li Kaishan, Situ Kong, and Zhang Wuji arrived to aid him at the Abyssal Fissure, only to find that he had already escaped and broken through. 343
