Rui's Outburst

Rui moved closer to the flagship, drawing more and more Taotie Warriors toward him.

From the small squad of Taotie Warriors at the beginning, their numbers grew to two squads, then three.

Leina also noticed that Rui was in the wrong position and wanted to warn him, but they were not on the same communication channel. Coupled with the Taotie Warriors keeping her occupied, she could do nothing.

Heya asked over the unified command channel, "Mr. Grey Wolf, let's work with Rui. Use your flying sphere craft and hit the Taotie flagship hard."

Grey Wolf said, "Leave it to this king. You just focus on drawing their attention."

Rui began to exert himself on the battlefield. However many Taotie Warriors came, he killed them all.

From aboard the flagship, Feng Lei ordered, "Surround and kill that silver-armored warrior."

Countless Taotie Warriors near the flagship charged toward Rui.

Before Rui's eyes, the once-colorful world slowly turned red. At first, Rui thought something had gone wrong with his Nano Core Armor.

But Rui felt that this was a normal function, so he simply ignored it. The long blade in his hand swung without pause, and Taotie Warriors fell dead at his feet one after another.

The members of Xiong Bing Company had no idea what Rui was doing. They could only see countless Taotie Warriors rushing to kill him.

Rui remained silent and continued killing enemies. Zhao Xin did not leave either, fighting alongside Rui.

Heya saw Rui's Nano Core Armor slowly turning red, while his height gradually increased. Yet Rui had not lost consciousness.

Inside the Nano Core Armor, Rui heard, "Human Weapon Form, fully activated."

Zhao Xin watched Rui's Nano Core Armor begin to transform. A pair of Sword Wings appeared behind it, two dark-red long blades hung at his waist, and his height increased by half a meter. Two broken blades were attached vertically beneath his feet.

Rui's Nano Core Armor now gave off the impression that it was covered in weapons.

The Sword Wings behind Rui trembled, launching countless one-meter-long blades toward the Taotie Warriors.

Then Rui drew the two blades hanging at his waist and joined their hilts together, merging them into a single weapon. Rui swung the extended long blade, knocking away bullets fired by snipers.

Just as the Taotie shifted their attention to Rui, one hundred Annihilation Bombs silently launched from behind the Taotie Battleships.

Some Taotie Battleships had already lost their Energy Shields, though most still had them active. Grey Wolf did not know whether those shields could withstand Annihilation Bombs, so he fired one hundred in succession.

Feng Lei kept issuing orders aboard the flagship. Then, one hundred tiny red dots appeared behind them.

Seeing them, Feng Lei ordered, "All warships, raise Energy Shields to full power."

Almost simultaneously, every Taotie Battleship raised its Energy Shield.

One Annihilation Bomb after another silently struck the Energy Shields of the Taotie Battleships.

One Taotie Battleship withstood the first bomb, then the second. The third directly caused that warship to vanish.

The Taotie flagship endured the most. Below, the members of Xiong Bing Company watched one Taotie Battleship disappear, then two, then three.

In the end, twelve Taotie Battleships vanished beneath the hundred Annihilation Bombs.

Watching twelve warships disappear, Feng Lei roared, "Kill them with all our strength!"

Liu Chuang looked up from below and said in surprise, "Why can't we take down the flagship?"

Heya, standing nearby, said, "The flagship has an enormous amount of energy. Annihilation Bombs assimilate energy, but they have their limits."

Liu Chuang smacked his lips and said, "That's still damn impressive. Back in Tianhe City, Dragon Bro and Mei had to join forces just to destroy three Taotie Battleships at once. If those Taotie Warriors hadn't run so fast, they might have been wiped out completely."

At that moment, Grey Wolf silently pressed another red button on the remote in his hand.

The flying sphere craft behind the Taotie Battleships launched another hundred Annihilation Bombs in rapid succession, but this time their target was the Taotie flagship.

Rui no longer fought on the ground. He recalled all the Wing Blades, which surrounded him and spun upward into the sky. A Blade Beast raced through the air as the Taotie Warriors desperately tried to stop these fighters from approaching the flagship.

On Xiong Bing Company's side, Ge Xiaolun was no longer as useless as in the original story. With a single "Shave," he appeared before a Taotie Warrior, followed by a Brain Splitting Chop.

A Taotie Warrior punched Ge Xiaolun in the face, but Ge Xiaolun used "Iron Body" to defend himself. Then came another Brain Splitting Chop, killing the Taotie Warrior.

Qiangwei maneuvered through the sky among the Taotie Warriors, sending a flying knife out whenever she found an opening.

Sun Wukong created countless monkey clones that occupied part of the sky. From time to time, he extended his staff and thrust it toward the flagship overhead.
