After the last wisp of energy was absorbed by Beni,

the energy instantly rippled outward, kicking up a faint cloud of dust and smoke.

Beni returned to her original form. Looking somewhat puzzled, she glanced around before turning her gaze toward Wu Heng and Xiaoxiao ahead of her.

Before Wu Heng could speak, Xiaoxiao flew over first and asked curiously, "Sister Beni, are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I feel a little different, but I can't really say exactly what's different." Beni floated out of the magic circle.

Xiaoxiao looked at her and continued asking, "What's thirty-eight plus twenty-four?"

Beni froze.

Xiaoxiao turned to Wu Heng. "It's over. Something went wrong."

Beni immediately said, "Sixty-two. I know that. What's the problem?"

Xiaoxiao let out a breath of relief, then said to Wu Heng, "Don't worry, she's fine."

Wu Heng glanced at the mischievous Xiaoxiao before looking at Beni. "This ritual gives ghosts the ability to see other people's levels. Try using it and see if it works."

Beni turned her gaze toward the man and ghost. After staring for a while, delight appeared on her face.

"I can see it. The two of you are giving off different kinds of light."

"That's right. This ability is very useful for scouting, and it can also help avoid conflicts with high-level professionals," Wu Heng said.
