Island Master's Manor.

After washing up, Wu Heng saw Minnie enter carrying a set of formal clothes.

As she helped him get dressed, she said, "Sister Vera said that ever since the church reopened, they've been getting more and more excessive. At first, they had disputes with the nearby shops, then conflicts. Recently, they've even dared to confront the guards."

It seemed that during his absence, the Church had taken Treasure Island's restraint as weakness and had become increasingly overbearing.

"They're testing the limits," Wu Heng said, straightening his back as Minnie ran a steamer over the clothes to smooth out the wrinkles.

"Huh? Does that mean they're getting more and more excessive?" Minnie asked curiously. She had never heard the phrase before.

Wu Heng explained, "It means they keep testing how much you can tolerate. The more you endure, the more they'll push their luck."

"I understand. Master really is educated." Minnie finished dressing him, then stood in front of him and inspected him carefully, her face full of smiles. "Master looks so handsome."

"You're cute too." Wu Heng pinched her cheek. "I'm going to the Association. Have Vera and the others come back early for dinner tonight."

"Yes, Master." Minnie smiled and went downstairs to call Andeviel.

Wu Heng opened the Mansion Spell, and Cassius and Sparkle stepped out.

Cassius was still dressed in a long training robe, with his hood concealing his head.

Sparkle wore an enormous, loose cloak that covered her entire body. Her back was arched by her wings, making her look like a hunched old man.

"Come on, you two. You're going out with me," Wu Heng said to the two skeletons before opening the door and walking out.

He headed to the study and opened the door, finding the Three Wraiths chatting inside.
