Mining with the Planet Destroyer Cannon

After arriving in the new star system, humanity was like a beggar who had gone hungry for days. Whenever they saw a Rocky Planet, they pounced on it and mined it frantically. To improve mining efficiency, they even put many weapons originally intended for war to use.

Yes, humanity had the Nano Mining Robot Little Grey, and the minerals Little Grey extracted could indeed be directly turned into various pure metals. But if Little Grey mined using her own abilities, she still had to search the planet and drill holes into it. Drilling in particular meant digging downward bit by bit, just as humans had done on the planet where Silver Mist had once been found.

The main sequence stars in this star system numbered two. One was an extremely common Red Dwarf Star, with roughly 0.4 times the Sun's mass. Such stars had very long lifespans and could remain stable for around 20 billion years. The other was an A-type star. Its surface shone white, and its mass was roughly 2.5 times that of the Sun. Because it was larger and more massive, it burned through fuel faster and was therefore brighter. Compared with the Sun, its luminosity was twenty-five times greater, but its lifespan was far shorter, only around 1.3 billion years.

Thus, if one viewed this star system from afar in space, one would not see a Binary Star System, but only the brighter star. In fact, most star systems in the sky did not contain a single star. Binary Star
