During the Earth Era, humanity's technology had done little more than cause climate change. A Tier 1 Civilization could at most dig up the Moon and build a few bases in outer space. A Level 2 Civilization could only scour a planet's surface. A Level 3 Civilization had the ability to hollow out an entire star system, but only by exhausting all the strength of its civilization over an immense span of time. Level 4 Civilization technology, however, could effortlessly bring earthshaking changes to the environment of an entire star system.

After a thousand years of human exploitation, the once clean and tranquil Binary Star System had become a collection of Space Mines. The void was filled with dust particles spread by the planets humanity had destroyed, turning the entire Binary Star System into a filthy mess.

The Main Sequence Star of the Binary Star System and the several Gaseous Planets within it would probably need to work together for ten thousand years or so before the environment became clear again.

The Milky Way Galaxy was vast. Even if there were tens of thousands of civilizations like humanity, wrecking things through mining and exploitation, the damage they inflicted on the Milky Way Galaxy's original environment would still be insignificant—less than the destruction caused by a single war between Level Six Civilizations.

Having completed their creation upgrade, humanity was about to leave this place and set out into the stars once more.

This time, humanity had no definite destination, only a general direction for the journey: away from the direction Awakener 'Illusion' had told humanity he was heading back then. Moving away from that direction meant moving away from the battlefield of Level Six Civilizations.
