Background / History

Taiqing was initially the foremost of the Primordial World's six Heavenly Dao Sages and resided in the Eight Sceneries Palace on Daluo Mountain. While nearing a breakthrough in Dao comprehension, a black light interrupted his enlightenment. 1

His circumstances changed when he acquired the Primordial Luck Binding System and bound the origin of the Primordial World. The binding erased the Saintfall Pill suppressing his origin and granted him the Chaos Pearl, the damaged Time Dao Palace, cultivation methods, spiritual pills, and other resources. 2

Taiqing used the Time Dao Palace to cultivate the Primordial Genesis Dao Chapter, seeking a path beyond the restrictions imposed on Heavenly Dao Sages. From that point onward, he made the Primordial World's growth the basis of his own advancement, strengthening its origin while preparing to unite the Three Teachings and oppose Hongjun's control. 2 21

Appearance

Taiqing is an elderly Daoist with white hair and a white beard. He wears a Taiqing Ruyi Crown and a Xuanhuang Taiji Daoist robe; seventy-two-colored mystic lights circle his head, while an unceasing Daoist aura surrounds him. 1
