Background

Sasuke is Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha's younger son and Itachi Uchiha's younger brother. His maternal uncle, Uchiha Homura, is also a prominent Uchiha shinobi and a close associate of Minato Namikaze and Hyuga Soji. Sasuke grows up surrounded by exceptional relatives: Fugaku, Itachi, and Homura are all Mangekyo Sharingan users, creating great expectations for him within the clan 824.

At five years old, Sasuke already envies the attention Itachi receives and displays a strong brother complex, simultaneously admiring and resenting his brother's accomplishments 540. At twelve, he is regarded as a gifted Uchiha with a Two-Tomoe Sharingan, though his family considers him behind Itachi and Shisui at the same age 825.
