The next morning, Velin looked over the three data sheets Kyle had compiled.
The first sheet.
The second sheet.
The third sheet.
The first sheet listed the shares of profit given to him by the other four legion commanders, accounting for roughly 25 percent.
The second sheet listed his direct profits, from resources mined under his own supervision, accounting for 65 percent.
The third sheet came from the Thirtieth Legion and the 148th Legion, accounting for 10 percent of the total profits. It was enough to show Count Kelt Sedes's efforts.
As for the earnings of the nobles, great and small, in the 135th Legion, Velin ultimately collected only a token 5 percent. It was not recorded here but listed separately, converted into Gold Coins, and used as rewards for the five thousand soldiers who had gone to war.
Once this war ended, Cadro Province would become his personal domain. If he told those nobles to go east, they would never dare go west.
Besides that, his most important gain was the favor owed to him by Legion Commander Burborn and Deputy Legion Commander Madmonk. That was something money could not necessarily buy.
"Lord, Count Kelt Sedes has sent an invitation, inviting you to visit the Sedes territory in Kenu Province after the war ends." Kyle took out an invitation bearing the Sedes Family crest and placed it before Velin.
"I can go take a look. Accept it for now." Velin picked up the invitation and placed it in his Spatial Ring.
He had heard that many ancient treasures lay buried beneath Kenu Province. If he had the chance, he could go exploring and do some sightseeing. Most importantly, he could slack off.
Surely, with such an excuse, even Kyle would not be able to stop him from loafing around.
