Kyle looked into the distance, then lowered his head and asked, "Are you conducting trade with the merfolk?"
"Yes, my lord," Shira replied with her head lowered.
"I see. That explains how you were able to survive here."
Hearing Kyle's words, Velin asked curiously, "Why do you say that?"
"My lord, the Goddess of Life has a close relationship with the God of Merfolk and Songstresses," Kyle answered calmly.
"What do you know? Tell me in detail."
Velin was extremely curious. One deity from the human faction and one from the ocean faction actually had such a good relationship—it was rather hard to understand.
Shira, kneeling on the ground, wished she could bury her head in the dirt. How she wished she were deaf at this moment.
