Upon returning to Millet City, Velin bid Eli farewell.
Seeing him off warmly, Eli watched as Velin left Millet City with Kyle and the guards, returning to Solomon City, the capital of Stovia District.
After more than nine months of construction, the new Solomon City had begun to take shape.
As soon as he arrived outside Solomon City and entered the camp, Velin noticed quite a few prisoners in the center. Dressed in a hodgepodge of clothes, their hands were bound behind their backs, and they had been tied to wooden poles under the scorching sun.
"My lord."
At the entrance to the military camp, more than a dozen soldiers struck their chests in salute to show their respect.
Velin nodded and guided his Red Phosphorus Horse into the camp.
After circling the Training Ground, he roughly estimated that there were more than eight hundred prisoners. From the guards, he learned that they were adventurers and mercenaries from the German Kingdom. Half a month ago, they had crossed the border and attacked mining sites, only to be captured by Count Rassel. Those with serious offenses had been executed, while the remaining prisoners had been sent to Solomon City for him to deal with.
"Who came up with this method?" Velin asked a soldier beside him, pointing at the way the prisoners were tied up.
The soldier respectfully replied, "In response to my lord, the prison could not hold all these people, so Lord Hebrew ordered them tied up at the Training Ground and ordered us to guard them here."
Velin nodded after hearing that. He dismounted and handed the Red Phosphorus Horse over to a guard.
"Kyle, send someone to inform Hebrew. Tell him to come see me in the tent."
"Yes, my lord."
