The crowd bowed in salute, then took their seats in orderly fashion, backs straight and eyes respectful as they awaited instructions.
Before coming to this manor for the banquet, they had already heard rumors that Lord Velin would soon be leaving the Nangexia Continent.
This gathering would very likely be their last chance to see the leader who had given them new lives.
"Don't be so serious. Chat freely first and get to know one another."
Seeing the solemn atmosphere, Velin waved his hand, telling everyone not to be so restrained.
