  • Kyle learned the locations of the Church of the God of Holy Light’s forces and set out with Shana to eliminate them and confront the rebels.
  • Kyle rejected the force trying to remove him from the Memory Crystal because he wanted to resolve Roland’s remaining regrets and honor his lord.

  • Velin learned that Kyle and Camillek Raglan intended to destroy their worlds, while the other trial-takers pursued different goals inside their Memory Crystals.
  • Fifty years later, as Roland Camp withdrew, Kyle triggered his hidden measures and caused the Vinumanra Plane to collapse.
  • Kyle said farewell to Shana, left the Memory Crystal, and greeted General Roland, who recognized him as Kyle.

Ch. 1228Memory Crystal—A Gift from the World Mother

Ch. 1229Doyle, You're Already Tens of Thousands of Years Old

The trial victors received their promised rewards, and the King of Wind Fairies and the Progenitor of the Dark Raven each presented three treasures for the remaining participants to choose from. Kyle obtained the World Tree branch the High Elf wanted, while the Progenitor of the Dark Raven hinted that he recognized the Twilight Orc’s lineage before the King of Wind Fairies stopped him.

Ch. 1231Kyle's origins—humble beginnings as an ordinary angel

Yuxia summoned the Time Guard to investigate Kyle’s past and learned that the being behind Velin was powerful enough to evade the River of Time. She discovered how Kyle inherited his Angel’s Heart, but accepted his refusal to leave his Lord and take up her offer of returning to the Heaven Realm.

  • Kyle revealed his eight-winged angel form to Yuxia, who examined him and found no thunder power.
  • Yuxia summoned the Time Guard, which projected Kyle’s past and warned her not to investigate the being behind Velin.
  • Kyle recounted his Lord’s story to Yuxia and declined her offer to accompany her to the Heaven Realm.
  • Yuxia reviewed the orb of Kyle’s past and learned that his grandfather had given him an Angel’s Heart that helped him become an Eight-winged Angel.

Ch. 1232Seraph Yuxia's Invitation

Yusia recognized Kyle’s devotion to Velin, rewarded him with Golden Feathers and World Origin Crystals, and removed the shackles on his Angel’s Heart. Ch. 1234Distributing Treasures

After returning from the Realm of Sky, Velin and Kyle gathered with Xuemiyya and Lyanna to distribute the treasures they had won. Kyle kept the Mirror of Truth: Eye of Delusion, while Velin assigned the rest and then wondered about Kyle’s origins, deciding their bond mattered more than the answer.

  • Velin, Kyle, Xuemiyya, and Lyanna returned to Lycaea War City after bidding farewell to the Wind Fairy King, and Leonas left for the Logistics Camp.
  • Kyle laid out the treasures from the trial, and Velin agreed to distribute them after Kyle claimed the Mirror of Truth: Eye of Delusion for himself.
  • Velin sent the Gap Lenses and Sky Judgment Arrows to be stored in Qixing Territory, and assigned Roland’s insights into the Law of Wind to Kyle and then Lyanna.

  • Velin assigned the Transcendent Seeds and their cultivation memories to Green, then sent Kyle back to the Twenty-Fifth Army and considered whether Kyle was a reincarnated epic or a Child of Destiny.
  • Velin stopped trying to identify Kyle’s background and decided he would remain Kyle’s brother regardless.

Ch. 1235Movements in the Black Asia Orc Northern Army

Leonas chose to keep Kyle’s background secret from his father, while Velin reviewed reports of the war’s stalemates and heavy losses. The Black Asia Orc Northern Army began assembling in Laan Tribe Territory, prompting Velin to prepare the Ninth, Twelfth, and Fifteenth Legions for a possible attack.

  • Leonas crushed a blank Magic Crystal sphere rather than betray Velin’s trust, then worked on a new combat technique using Heavenly Scripts and the Law of Light.
  • Velin reviewed reports on the southern and western fronts, including a major battle in which the Allied Forces and Black Asia Orc Eastern Army each suffered heavy casualties.
  • Velin left the command department to inspect Lekaya City of War’s northern defenses, where Leonas warned him that the Black Asia Orc Northern Army was assembling in Laan Tribe Territory.

  • Bamos ordered the Black Asia Orc generals to prepare for war and identified the human forces in the north as his first target.
  • Gamond reported the Ripper Legion’s position, the hidden Iron Jaw Legion, and the Gray Orcs’ Bloodwing-Magic Energy Mechanical Legion’s move toward Korka Fortress; Bamos ordered a scouting advance into Kamo territory.
  • Half a month later, Ignis briefed the commanders of the Ninth and Twelfth Legions on Black Asia Orc reconnaissance and probing attacks near the border.
  • Velin set the campaign’s objective as annihilating the Black Asia Orc Northern Army’s elite forces, then revised the battle plan with the generals’ input.

Ch. 1237Black Asia Orc Assimilated Troops—Blue Iron Camp

Velin inspected the Blue Iron Camp, a force of Black Asia Orcs converted to worship the Goddess of Life, and assigned it to supervise prisoners working in the Northern Mining Area. • Velin arrived at Blue Iron Camp and was greeted by Commander Titus and the assembled Black Asia Orcs.
  • Velin inspected the camp’s more than four thousand soldiers, praised their loyalty, and rewarded them with military supplies.
  • Velin ordered Titus to supervise Black Asia Orc prisoners working in the Northern Mining Area and promised each Blue Iron Camp soldier two spouses after the war.

  • After Velin departed, Titus pressured his officers with his aura and ordered them to test undecided soldiers, sending away anyone still attached to the United Kingdom of Kols.

Ch. 1238God-Thief

After learning that a Black Asia Orc Legend was stealing the Black Asia Orc God's authority with an Outer God's help, Velin decided to strike Darrow City and kill the God-Thief. He enlisted Caesinas and six other Legends to guard the army, with the operation set to begin in five days.

  • The Guidance of Fate told Velin that a Black Asia Orc Legend in Darrow City was stealing his god's authority with the Spirit of Lies and an Outer God's aid.
  • Velin decided to attack the Laan Tribe Territory, search for the God-Thief, and kill him publicly, even if doing so meant revealing the Star Contract Legion.
  • Velin went to see Caesinas and announced that he planned to strike before the Black Asia Orc Northern Army attacked.
  • Caesinas agreed to lead six other Legends alongside the army and guard against Black Asia Orc Legendary Experts.
  • Velin told Caesinas that they would depart in five days and that he would need his help after they occupied Darrow City.

Ch. 1239The Ninth Legion's Offensive

Velin launched the Ninth Legion’s second campaign against the Black Asia Orcs, and its forces rapidly broke through the Kamo Tribe Territory’s defenses. Bamos ordered his troops north to stop the advance, while suspecting the Church of Dawn was preparing a larger operation.

  • Velin changed the battle plan and sent the Holy Shield Legion toward the Kamo and Esor Tribe Territories as the other forces marched south.
  • The Ninth Legion began its offensive on April 11, destroying Muleng Fortress and attacking the other border fortresses with improved magic energy cannons.
  • The Third Legion and the Gray Orc Bloodwing Magic Energy Mechanical Legion defeated the Human Fifteenth and Forty-third Legions and advanced toward the Esor Tribe Territory capital.
  • Gamond brought Bamos reports that the Ninth Legion had taken several strongholds in five days, while the Star Contract Legion severely damaged the Ripper Legion.
  • Bamos ordered his troops to assemble and halt the Ninth Legion, and told the Northern Troops to attack the Human Ninth Legion’s territory from the Esor-Kamo border.

Ch. 1240Darrow City

A Star Contract Legion squad reached Darrow City after massacring a small Black Asia Orc settlement and learned it must wait for the main army. In the city, a Black Asia Orc elder plotted to steal his god’s racial authority, but the Spirit of Lies warned him that a massive Human Army was approaching.

  • A Star Contracter squad killed the Black Asia Orc priest, bound the surviving civilians, and set out for Darrow City.
  • Sixty-one Star Contracters gathered beneath Darrow City and obeyed the order not to act until the main army arrived.
  • A Black Asia Orc elder recalled how he had used the Mask of Usurpation: The End to steal five thousandths of his god’s racial authority and foment wars.
  • The Spirit of Lies told the elder that a massive Human Army was closing in on Darrow City, leaving him to wonder whether the Northern Army had collapsed.

Ch. 1241Datus

Datus learned that a Human army was approaching Darrow City and ordered the Spirit of Lies to activate his Undead Transformation Array. As he began merging with Satra’s soul, the array turned tens of thousands of Black Asia Orc elders, women, and children in Darrow City into walking corpses.

  • The Spirit of Lies showed Datus images of Star Contract Legion warriors and an approaching Human army of at least ten thousand.
  • Datus went to his undead demiplane, where he destroyed the last remnant of Satra’s consciousness and gave the Spirit of Lies a Bone Plaque.
  • Datus ordered the Spirit of Lies to activate the Undead Transformation Array in Darrow City, then began merging his consciousness with Satra’s soul.
  • The Spirit of Lies activated the array’s final node, and Death Qi engulfed Darrow City, transforming tens of thousands of Black Asia Orc elders, women, and children into walking corpses.

Ch. 1242Speculation

An Undead Calamity turned Darrow City and its inhabitants into undead, prompting the human and Black Asia Orc armies to halt and investigate. As seven legends debated the undead’s purpose, Velin suspected the Bone Flower Council was involved and tried to work out how to convince them of his theory; Caesinas then asked him what he thought.

  • Zesop sensed the Death Qi from Darrow City, while Kyle and Leonas halted the human army and ordered it to remain alert; a Black Asia Orc commander also stopped his army and sent a general southwest with a letter.
  • Death Qi transformed everyone in Darrow City, along with buried corpses, into undead, while the Spirit of Lies hid from Zesop and then slipped underground toward a shadowed residence.
  • Zesop detected a faint trace of Dawn Power in the Death Qi, investigated the city without finding answers, and left to search nearby villages and towns.
  • Seven legends gathered to discuss the confined but potent Death Qi and whether the undead were hiding their true objective or targeting Darrow City.
  • Velin suspected the Bone Flower Council’s undead were involved and considered how to persuade the legends; Caesinas noticed his Battle Qi and asked for his opinion.

Ch. 1243Forced to Swear

Velin told seven Legendary Experts that a Black Asia Orc God-Thief was hiding in Darrow City, and Caesinas protected Velin’s secret while the group prepared to fight. Aprily left to contact the Black Asia Orc Legendary Experts, while the Spirit of Lies remained concealed and waited for the “undying old traitor.”

  • Velin informed the Legendary Experts that a Black Asia Orc God-Thief was hiding in Darrow City but said he knew nothing about the thief’s identity or strength.
  • Caesinas stopped Velin from revealing his source, warned everyone to keep the information secret, and secured oaths from the two Legendary Experts from Belfas.
  • Nigellus proposed contacting the Black Asia Orc Legendary Experts, and the group agreed to prepare for battle and move warriors below High-Bronze Tier into the Demiplane.
  • Caesinas asked Velin for his opinion, and Velin agreed to the preparations before the Legendary Experts departed.
  • Aprily flew south on a Soul Intent High-level Red Dragon to deliver a message, while the Spirit of Lies watched the human camp and continued waiting in hiding.

Ch. 1244The Bet

Velin prepared his forces for the coming Undead Calamity and learned that the God-Thief would likely reveal himself within five days. Aprily reached an alliance with the Black Asia Orcs, then discovered that Crowns had arranged a wager with the God of Dawn over who would kill the God-Thief first.

  • Velin ordered the legions to form elite units for the coming war and send the remaining soldiers into the Demiplane, explaining that they would temporarily ally with the Black Asia Orcs.
  • Kyle warned Velin that the God-Stealer was likely hiding in a Demiplane and would reveal himself within five days, and Velin told Kyle to use the Golden Feather if he faced danger.
  • Aprily arrived above the Black Asia Orc camp and told Bamos she had come to propose an alliance because of Darrow City.
  • Inside a Demiplane, Aprily realized that the figure posing as Bamos was Crowns, who revealed his wager with the God of Dawn over who would kill the God-Thief first.
  • Crowns told Aprily that Bamos would form an alliance with her after she left.

Ch. 1245Legendary Intermediate Necromancer—Datus

Bamos learned that Ingram was suspected of stealing the gods’ power and agreed to ally with humans to eliminate the God Stealers. Meanwhile, Datus awakened his undead army in the Demiplane, preparing it for destruction.

  • The God of Black Asia Orc told Bamos that Ingram was the likely God Stealer and ordered him to join forces with humans.
  • Bamos accepted the god’s command and ordered his companions to set aside their grievances and return to camp.
  • Datus awakened inside the body of the Legendary Intermediate Necromancer and sealed away his original body to avoid exposing his stolen authority.
  • Datus fused two bodies into his White Bone staff and released dark energy that strengthened the million undead.
  • The twelve subsidiary towers released their imprisoned Soul Intent undead, and Datus watched the army gather beneath the White Bone Tower.

Ch. 1246The Battle of Darrow: Undead Legion

Datus opened a demiplane passage above Darrow City and unleashed a million-strong undead army, forcing Velin and the human legions to prepare for battle. After the undead split into four armies, Illictra fired the humans’ modified magic energy cannons, vaporizing thousands of skeletons as the battle began.

  • Datus summoned a million undead above Darrow City, and Velin ordered the human forces to assemble and advance.
  • Datus delegated command of the undead to four high-level commanders, while the Spirit of Lies hid on the city wall.
  • The Death Knight, Walking Corpse Lord, Lich, and Banshee divided the undead army into four forces and marched in separate directions.
  • Velin halted his troops and ordered Illictra to activate eight hundred modified magic energy cannons as the undead approached.
  • The cannon barrage collided with the undead’s counterattack, and residual purple beams vaporized thousands of white bone skeletons.

Ch. 1247Battle of Darrow—War Between the Undead and Humans

Human forces and Velin fought Nadas’s undead army at Darrow, with the battle escalating from volleys of arrows and ground charges to clashes between powerful undead and Transcendents. Velin faced Nadas while the Blood Knight engaged other Soul Intent High-level undead, and the chapter ended with Datus battling fourteen Legends in the sky.

  • Human soldiers reloaded the Magic Energy Cannons, while Nadas ordered the undead army to advance through their fire.
  • Over twenty thousand human bowmen fired arrows infused with Dawn Power, destroying large numbers of skeleton warriors as Nadas continued the charge.
  • Banshees and Death Crypt Dragons attacked the human formation, and Velin struck a dragon with Anansi's Sword before ordering the human forces to attack.
  • Nadas sent a Soul Intent High-level Lich and two Soul Intent High-level Death Knights against Velin, but Velin summoned the Blood Knight to fight them.
  • Velin and Nadas traded attacks across the battlefield while the Blood Knight battled the undead, and Datus faced fourteen Legends in the sky.

Ch. 1248Battle of Darrow—A Slightly Failed Confrontation

Velin defeated one of Nadas’s three banshees after his Void—Shatter attack drove them to flee, then flew to the main battlefield. There, he found Kyle and the knights had turned the battle against the undead, leaving little for him to do.

  • Nadas summoned two banshees and attacked Velin with them using sonic, icy, and venomous powers.
  • Velin unleashed Void—Shatter, annihilating their attacks and badly damaging the rotten banshee, but exhausting most of his Battle Qi.
  • After Velin recovered, the three banshees fled; he killed the wounded rotten banshee, while Nadas and the enchanting banshee escaped.
  • Velin flew to the main battlefield and saw Kyle slaughtering undead as the Life Knight, Death Knight, and Blood Knight supported the fight.
  • Velin learned that Kyle and the Blood Knight had killed thirty-eight Soul Intent rank undead, while the Life Knight and Death Knight had stopped the remaining undead from growing stronger.

Ch. 1249Battle of Darrow—Blood Knight

Datus escaped the Shadow World and seized Velin, but the Blood Knight rescued him and destroyed Datus’s body and soul before severing his connection to three Demiplanes. The chapter left Datus alive in his original body, while Velin disappeared and Kyle struggled with grief.

  • After a day and night of fighting, Datus used his remaining Faith Power to escape the Shadow World into the real world, and the other Legends pursued him.
  • Datus arrived over Darrow City, thwarted Kyle’s attempt to switch places with Velin, and carried Velin into the sky in chains.
  • Caesinas broke the final chain of law binding his soul and unleashed his accumulated Dawn Power, while Kyle used a World Origin Crystal to transform and fly after Datus.
  • The Blood Knight emerged after the life-knight and death-knight merged into him, reached Legendary Intermediate strength, and attacked Datus as Velin was freed and swallowed by a crack in the knight’s chest.
  • The Blood Knight pierced Datus, destroyed his body and soul, and severed his link to his three Demiplanes; Datus returned to his original body, and Caesinas steadied the grief-stricken Kyle.

Ch. 1250Three Continental Legendaries

Datus Ingram used stolen authority to summon three peak Black Asia Orc Continental Legendaries and fight the Blood Knight, who defeated them during a three-minute lesson. The god of the Black Asia Orcs paid to reclaim Datus’s soul, and the Blood Knight returned to Caesinas, seized Kyle, and displayed the payment.

  • Datus fused stolen authority into his soul, formed a half-divine body, and summoned Hagross, Voluk, and Zorgan through his Shadow Law.
  • The Blood Knight shattered Datus’s divine domain, restored the battlefield, and fought the three Continental Legendaries while Velin absorbed combat experience.
  • Voluk, Hagross, and Zorgan were defeated in turn, and the god of the Black Asia Orcs negotiated to exchange Datus’s soul for three World Origin Crystals, fifteen divine power crystals, and a World Heart.
  • The Blood Knight accepted the payment, returned to the real world, and took Datus’s soul before destroying his body as the three-minute lesson ended.
  • The Blood Knight put Kyle to sleep, seized him from Caesinas, and showed the payment he had received.
