Mito Uzumaki cast an odd look at Hoshiryu Uchiha beside her.
Having lived this long, there was nothing she had not experienced.
Yet this was a sight she had truly never seen before.
If Hashirama Senju had possessed this level of emotional intelligence back then, she would not have been able to fend off all those women throwing themselves at him.
If Hashirama Senju had not been too simple-minded—foolish, even—or perhaps had only Madara in his heart, Mito Uzumaki would not have been able to stop all those women who came knocking either.
In truth, she was overthinking it. Hoshiryu Uchiha simply did not have that kind of emotional intelligence.
He merely felt that since he was already tired, he might as well treat everyone equally.
So he simply created two clones, one for each of them. Perfectly fair.
After doing all that, Hoshiryu Uchiha calmly resumed drinking his tea.
The sight made Mito Uzumaki's eyelids twitch. He seemed even lazier than she was.
Just when they thought the afternoon would pass like this, Chika and an ANBU rushed over in a hurry.
"Lady Mito, urgent news!"
At those words, Mito Uzumaki instantly shed her lazy demeanor.
The moment she rose to her feet, her gaze sharpened as she looked at the two arrivals.
Chika took out a document, handed it to Mito Uzumaki, and said:
"Intelligence indicates that the Kage of the other nations had private contact with one another a month ago, though we were unable to uncover the details."
"And today, envoys arrived in Konoha to convey the other Four Kage's intention to convene a Five Kage Summit."
"This document is the formal invitation sent by the Four Kage."
Mito Uzumaki said nothing after hearing this. She merely opened the document in her hand and read it
