"Most fell during the war against the Gordian League and Diamond Star, or in guerrilla warfare against Alpha."

"In the recently concluded Ghoul Stars War, total fatalities amounted to 9,020."

Nimrod nodded slightly. Although his Legion had lost only a thousand fewer men than the Dark Angels, the enemies they had faced included not only the Night Lords, but also part of Alpha.
