Always quiet and never fond of speaking, he no longer restrained himself. He poured into his song all the resentment of being exiled by his Primarch, and the shame of being exiled as a Legion Master.
His deep voice suddenly soared, giving vent to pent-up rage, then softened again, murmuring sorrow.
The emotion-laden song echoed through the vast body of Obnis, moving him to let out a long roar.
Bang!
Alkahas shot out like a cannonball. He ended the song on a long, high note, leaving his sorrow, resentment, and shame in the past.
He closed his mouth, and his black-robed body dropped into the water, swimming through the sea like an agile shark.
Alkahas's pale skin soaked in the water. The currents washed over him, and every cell in his body seemed to leap with them.

A flash of inspiration suddenly crossed Alkahas's mind, and he thought of the water tanks he had seen not long ago aboard the warship of Storm Lord Szczesny's Ninth Chapter.
