Tiandao rescued Danika, confronted the Hidden Star Society, and took steps to infiltrate its Steam Capital branch under a new identity. As Chen Kong and Vivian’s search drew the gangs into conflict, Caroline investigated distorted memories and Chen Xing arrived in Steam Capital, setting the stage for their paths to cross.

• Tiandao fought the Deep Sea Scourge with his Hyper-computation unsealed, then the Doctor sealed his computing power to protect his developing body.
• Vivian searched the Rust Iron District for the Church’s missing relic and enlisted Chen Kong’s help, while Tiandao rescued Danika from the Grey Rat Gang’s factory.
• Tiandao watched Chen Kong and Vivian confront the gang as Vivian defeated Jakes, and Chen Kong met Liu Ma, who challenged him to a fight.
• Chen Kong defeated Liu Ma, but Andromeda attacked and revealed that she had captured Vivian before Tiandao intervened as the Mysterious Masked Man.
• Tiandao defeated Andromeda, brought her to the Hidden Star Society villa, and secured permission to replace an infiltrator as captain of the Star Envoy Association’s Fifth Squad.
• Liu Ma drove the Blood Skull gang from the Rust Nail Bar, while Caroline investigated her unreliable memories and pursued Spirit Realm experiments to examine them.

Disguised as Shui Mo, Tiandao passed the Fifth Squad assessment, took Vivian into custody, and uncovered the Church’s scheme around the missing orphans and Holy Relic. As the Church prepared to contest Vivian’s fate, Yu Qianxia trained Chen Kong and Liu Ma, who began developing the strength to challenge Tiandao.

• Tiandao registered as Shui Mo and passed Chen Xing’s assessment, though she recognized his true identity and later joined him.
• Tiandao brought Danika to Rust Iron Hell, found Vivian, and fought Chen Kong and Liu Ma before taking Vivian to the Association.
• Tiandao investigated the Church’s accusations and learned that Vivian was being framed amid a cover-up involving Euphemia, Bishop Cleve, and missing children.
• The Gear Church demanded Vivian’s return, but Tiandao kept her in Fifth Squad custody and agreed to let the Twelve Brass Council decide her fate in a month.
• Tiandao identified the Mechanical Quantum Hub Gear as the key to gaining authority over the Steam Capital’s Quantum Hub and planned to exploit the coming conflict.

Tiandao manipulated the trial of Vivian and the growing tension between the Upper and Lower Cities while advancing his own plans. Vivian was sentenced, Fischer died, and a riot erupted as Chen Kong and Isabelle prepared to act.

• Tiandao recruited Leighton to manage Steam Capital and planned to use Yu Chen’s investigation to serve his aims.
• Chen Kong and Liu Ma rescued Vivian during her transfer, but Chen Xing stopped them, and Vivian returned to Tiandao after Chen Xing agreed to let her brother go.
• Tiandao revealed Vivian’s role in the theft and brought her before the Twelve Brass Nobles, where Old Jack’s evidence failed to prevent her conviction and Furnace Punishment sentence.
• Tiandao demonstrated his growing Subspace ability to Chen Xing, while Chen Xing challenged the Demonic Blade and Caroline suspected she might be asked to kill Chen Xing if the blade took control.
• Fischer killed Per and the Purification Faction, but Tiandao defeated Fischer, took the Steam Capital Quantum Key, and left the cathedral as a storm approached.
• Chen Kong suspected the Upper City’s planned overhaul was meant to provoke conflict, and citizens of Rust Iron District rioted at Bolt Hub Station.
• Old Jack left Steam Capital after saying he could not give the residents hope, while Chen Kong vowed to help Vivian and the district.
• Isabelle contacted Dorian about her plan to intervene, and he grew alarmed when she warned it might turn Steam Capital upside down.

Chen Kong survived Euphemia’s ambush while Tiandao gathered the Quantum Keys and prepared to seize the Steam Furnace. As Vivian’s final casting began, Chen Kong reached her, but Shui Mo appeared and claimed they had known each other since childhood.

• Tiandao helped Chen Kong overcome Bai Kong in his Soul Space, and Chen Kong awakened and defeated Euphemia with Bai Kong’s help.
• Tiandao retrieved the two Quantum Keys from the Eternal Magnetic Sphere, destabilizing the prison and triggering a breakout he subdued.
• Yun Meng reunited with Tiandao at Ember Base and gave him Shattered Star, which he used to kill a Young Sun-Devouring Whale.
• Tiandao stabilized the Eternal Magnetic Sphere, explained his plan to open the Steam Furnace, and accepted Chen Xing’s long-delayed birthday sunglasses.
• The Brass Council upheld Vivian’s sentence and scheduled her final casting, but Tiandao entered the chamber and declared he would transform Steam Capital and share the Furnace.
• Tiandao revealed that he intended to use the twelve Quantum Keys, Vivian’s authorization, and Chen Kong’s feelings to obtain the Book called the Gear Hub.
• Chen Kong and Liu Ma disguised themselves as Steam Guards and fought through the Brass Path with Yu Chen and the Fifth Squad secretly helping them.
• Chen Kong reached Vivian and promised to rescue her, but Shui Mo appeared and claimed Chen Kong had known him since childhood.
