After defeating Bai Kong and Ivan’s forces, Tiandao revealed that Purgatory Rashomon was aimed at the God of Ten Thousand Machines and trapped Ivan in a purgatory that magnified his painful memories.

• Tiandao revealed his identity and goal, then took Vivian and Danika through the Brass Path toward the Gear Hub while Chen Kong and the others pursued them.
• Tiandao sent Vivian into the Steam Furnace so she could gain the Myriad Machine Spark, while Danika’s permissions let them approach the Brass Gear.

The group reached the Sea of Crimson Mist, where Jing Liuli and Chen Xing fought Star Beasts, while Tiandao looked ahead to Jing Liuli’s concert and Huan Qianyin.

• Tiandao defeated Ivan’s divine descent, and Ivan shut down his core and died, and Tiandao stored his shell and worked with Danika to stabilize the Steam Furnace.
• Jing Liuli arrived in the Steam Capital amid unrest, reunited with Chen Xing and Tiandao, and learned that Tiandao had returned while the conflict with the Gear Church remained concealed.

• The Steam Train stopped amid a Star Beast horde, and Liu Ma, Vivian, and Ying Qianhuan helped Chen Kong destroy the Blood Crystal Coral controlling the beasts until Tiandao freed the Tiger-skin Whale.

Tiandao defeated Shuang Mo Bing in a shared dream while preparing to save Caroline and clearing the way for Jing Liuli’s concert. As Chen Kong’s group struggled to free Isabelle, Jeremiah emerged wounded and warned the Shuang brothers that Association squads were closing in.

• Tiandao endured Shuang Yuan and Shuang Hang’s Frostsnow Storm domain, then shattered their hiding place and defeated their Ice Queen techniques, forcing the brothers to retreat.
• Tiandao reunited with Jing Liuli and Caroline for the fireworks, then learned Caroline’s quantum soul would die within 72 hours if severed from Quantum Space and resolved to give her a new life.
