Shield Armor	246	In Demon God Mode, Hawking transforms the barrier into full-body magical armor. It protects his entire body, does not interfere with casting other spells, and withstands four simultaneous fire dragons without damage.
Absolute Defense	377	A composite barrier combining the Shield Charm, the Clow Card Shield, and Fairy Tail's Fairy Sphere. It withstands Saga's Illusion Demon Emperor Fist after Mu's Crystal Wall is shattered.

Appearance

The Shield Charm normally manifests as a transparent magical barrier placed between Hawking and an incoming attack. In its enhanced forms, it can become a wide-area dome, full-body armor, or an arched defensive wall. 124 196 246 377

Standard Barrier

The original Shield Charm creates a round magical shield that blocks attacks from one direction. 246

Requires continuous magical-power input to maintain. 246
In its original form, maintaining the shield prevents the caster from using other spells. 246
Leaves the caster vulnerable from the other three directions. 246
Its defensive strength can be improved by Hawking's soul power. 124
It is insufficient against certain high-output combined attacks, such as Kakuzu's fused Chakra cannon. 125

Super Shield Charm

Super Shield Charm is Hawking's large-area defensive application of the spell. 196 226

Shield Armor

Absolute Defense

Absolute Defense is a higher defensive technique built from three magical systems: the Shield Charm, the Clow Card Shield, and Fairy Sphere. 377

The Fairy Sphere component uses time-freezing principles to prevent attacks from taking effect. 377
