Arc 9The Spy at Desolate Pagoda

Huang Shaojie’s family arrived in the capital as Xiao Qiuyue’s disappearance revealed her identity as Princess Mingyue. While Huang investigated Japanese spies, he and Azure Dragon and Vermilion Bird fought Miyajima Ayaka and captured Sakamoto, whose memories were erased before he could expose her.

  • Huang Shaojie’s family left Suzhou for the capital, while Xuan Wuji and Black Tortoise arranged to confirm Xiao Qiuyue’s identity.

After reaching Seventh Rank Grandmaster, Huang Shaojie investigated the assassination of Marquis Longyuan and followed a lead out of the capital. In Seven Heroes Town, he uncovered the crimes of the Four Great Villains and pledged to capture them while keeping his Imperial Guard identity secret.

  • Huang Shaojie captured Sakamoto Tarō’s spy but failed to learn the Japanese Imperial Consort’s identity, then broke through to Seventh Rank Grandmaster with Three Points Return to One Qi.
  • After Marquis Longyuan and his son were murdered, Huang Shaojie investigated and suspected that the exiled Ye Chen had killed the Imperial Uncle in revenge for his father, Physician Ye.
