Arc 13Annan’s Conquest

Huang Shaojie helped Great Chu and Annan defeat the Indian army, then persuaded Nguyen Dan to surrender Annan to Great Chu. After the annexation, Huang Shaojie exposed Chou Sihai as Ye Chen and learned that he had killed the Imperial Uncle to avenge his family.

  • Huang Shaojie persuaded Nguyen Dan to ally with Great Chu, and Nguyen Dan secured Li Chengbiao and Zhang Xian’s support against India.
  • Huang Shaojie briefed Xiang Qingyang on India’s forces and helped arrange the Annan alliance before the Chu army entered Annan.

Arc 14The Shaolin Confrontation

Huang Shaojie returned to Chang'an, gained a new title and office, and traveled to Western Shu to find Xiao Qiuyue before facing Dongfang Bubai at Shaolin. He rescued Dongfang Bubai from the Shaolin patriarchs, and the dispute over her family’s murder turned into a new fight.

  • Huang Shaojie revealed his past to Huang Shaojie and received the Nine Yang Divine Skill from Huang Shaojie, reaching the peak of the Eighth Rank Grandmaster realm.
  • Xiang Qingyang returned victorious from India and Annan, while Emperor Xuande praised her achievements and Miyajima Ayaka resolved to eliminate her.

Arc 15The Persian Arena Challenge

Huang Shaojie exposed Persia’s plans to test Great Chu while the Persian Envoy Group challenged Great Chu’s fighters in an arena tournament. As Dongfang Bubai and Nangong Feixue reached Chang’an, Ling Xiaotian killed Kyle, then faced the magically enhanced Austin.

  • Huang Shaojie defeated Wujing, Wukong, and Wuneng, then forced Xuan Ming to confess to murdering Dongfang Bubai’s family and Master Xuan Chen.

Arc 16The Imperial Marriage

Huang Shaojie defeated the Persian challenge, uncovered the plot behind the envoys’ massacre, and foiled a Japanese scheme against the Emperor. He was appointed Princess Pingyang’s Imperial Son-in-Law, and the arc ended with his wedding procession setting out for the palace.

  • Huang Shaojie defeated Ling Xiaotian and Cao Kun, then Huang Shaojie killed Adrian after Adrian’s magic failed to harm him and he redirected the falling meteors into the arena.
  • Huang Shaojie received the title Marquis Wushen and command of the Imperial Guard, while Nangong Feixue and Dongfang Bubai arrived at Huang Manor and stayed there.
