Harry and Hermione went downstairs with the Gryffindor students. It was already mealtime, and many young wizards were pouring out of classrooms on every floor of the castle, hurrying toward the Great Hall. After a quick lunch, they would return to their dormitories to switch textbooks before beginning their afternoon classes.

This rush always made people look a little disheveled, but Harry, who had been cut off from everything for several days, felt a pleasantly fulfilling sense of joy.
