Lin Langtian learned that Jin Wu’s original form, then called the Seven Fiend Black Gold Crow, possessed an exceptionally noble bloodline descended from the Nine Fiend Black Gold Crow. He named the creature Jin Wu and regarded his future evolution as a major long-term goal. 93

Jin Wu absorbed energy from the Sacred Spirit Pool and later immense quantities of Nirvana Qi. Although this nearly pushed him into the Nirvana Stage, Spirit Aunt forcibly halted the breakthrough: advancing before evolving would fix his bloodline foundation and make his transformation into a Nine Fiend Black Gold Crow far more difficult. 167 208

Lin Langtian and Lin Dong obtained the Ice Fiend Extreme Cold Pill needed for Jin Wu’s evolution. After absorbing Que Tian’s inheritance, Jin Wu became a Nine Fiend Black Gold Crow, assumed human form, and reached the Three Yuan Nirvana Stage.
