A Good Persona Is a Wonderful Thing

After getting up that morning, Izumo Kamizuki quickly washed up, ate breakfast, and rushed to school.

"You got up pretty early today. Why are you in such a hurry?" Old Mother asked in confusion.

"Of course I'm going to school early to study." Izumo Kamizuki answered without looking back.

That was merely a lie to brush off his mother. Izumo Kamizuki did not dislike going to school, but he did not particularly enjoy it either, because not every teacher taught as vividly and interestingly as Mu Yue-sensei.

The real reason he was so eager to get to school was that he desperately wanted to know whether his good brother Kotetsu Hagane had taken the first step in love.

He had given Kotetsu Hagane the idea on Thursday, but on Friday, Kotetsu Hagane said he had not dared to do it and needed more time to work up to it.

Izumo Kamizuki figured two days over the Weekend should have been enough time to prepare himself.

"That sounds perfect, Brother Tetsu." Kotetsu Hagane instantly shook off his gloom and said with a broad smile.

"I also came up with a brilliant plan over the Weekend to help you deal with your cousin."

"That's great! Hurry up and tell me what this brilliant plan is."

"Class begins!"

Mu Yue's voice reached their ears, and only then did they realize class had already started. They had been so absorbed in their conversation that they had not noticed the bell.

The two hurriedly sat up straight and began listening to the lesson. After two days without Mu Yue's class, they had missed it quite a bit.

"Helping others brings joy. Colleagues should help each other too." Mu Yue said with a serious expression.

"You're just too nice. It's easy for people like you to get taken advantage of." Ueda Aya said emotionally.

Mu Yue smiled without saying anything and began practicing calligraphy.

Watching Mu Yue's focused expression as he practiced calligraphy, Ueda Aya could not help feeling that the gap between people was truly vast. If Iketani Isamu were even one-quarter as outstanding as Mu Yue, he would not still have never been in a relationship.

When he felt the time was about right, Mu Yue put down his brush, tidied his desk, and headed to Class 4-2.

Just as Mu Yue reached the classroom door, the bell rang.

"Teacher Ikeya has something to do, so I'll be covering this afternoon's Ninjutsu class." Mu Yue walked in and explained.

He swept his gaze over the classroom. Everyone was there except Obito.

About three minutes into class, Obito finally rushed into the classroom. Seeing Mu Yue at the lectern, Obito was dumbfounded.

Did I run too hard? Why is Mu Yue-sensei in my class? That was what Obito was thinking at that moment.

For an instant, he even suspected that he had entered the wrong classroom. But when he saw all those familiar classmates, it was obvious that he had not.

Obito did not even stop to catch his breath before hurriedly explaining, "Mu Yue-sensei, I wasn't late on purpose. On the way, I ran into—"

"He ran into an old grandmother who needed help and lost time." Before Obito could finish, someone in the class finished for him, prompting a burst of laughter.

Ninjutsu classes at the Ninja Academy began in First Grade, but they only taught three Ninjutsu: the Transformation Jutsu, Clone Technique, and Substitution Technique.

Though spending several years learning only a few basic Ninjutsu might seem like a waste of time, it was actually quite reasonable, because geniuses like Shisui were rare after all.
