Background / History

The Void Emperor was born during an era of frequent Dark Turmoils and spent his life fighting Supreme Beings to protect the Human Race. His battles against the Immortal Mountain were especially bitter; he was described as having faced bloody combat throughout his life and never truly enjoying his prime because of his injuries. 1 10 11

Over 100,000 years before his resurrection, he feigned his death to draw out four Supreme Beings from the Immortal Mountain. He ultimately perished together with two of them. His body was placed in the Ancient Coffin of Gods, which drifted through the void to Earth; there, the corpse later gained sentience and became the Yellow Emperor. 69

After his resurrection, he learned of the Heavenly Court and its mission system. The possibility of earning Points to revive his son and the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body who had once protected him gave him a renewed purpose, and he accepted the Heavenly Court as an ally in protecting all beings. 2

Appearance

The Void Emperor is generally depicted as a majestic, robed figure whose presence carries overwhelming imperial authority. When he reveals his full power, his body can tower into the heavens while the Void Mirror floats above him. 7 9

  • Wears flowing robes that flutter when he unleashes his aura. 7
  • Possesses an imposing, godlike bearing that causes beings across the universe to prostrate themselves. 7 118
  • Is accompanied in battle by the bronze Void Mirror, his Supreme Emperor Armament. 8 9

Personality

The Void Emperor’s defining trait is his absolute commitment to protecting all beings. He is willing to confront death, endure personal loss, and even set aside old grudges when doing so better serves the coming struggle against the Dark Turmoil. 2 11 31

He is proud and decisive, especially toward the Life Forbidden Zones that devastated the Human Race during his era. However, he is not ruled solely by vengeance: after striking Immortal Mountain twice and humiliating the Stone Emperor, he leaves rather than destroy the forbidden zone before the Path to Immortality opens. 11

He also shows unusual magnanimity toward the Yellow Emperor, the sentient intelligence born from his own corpse. Rather than treat him as an affront, the Void Emperor tells him that the past has faded and recognizes him as his own person. 17

Supreme Emperor Combat Power

As a restored Great Emperor and later a post-transformation powerhouse, the Void Emperor possesses overwhelming combat strength.

  • Traversed the Life Forbidden Zones without provoking direct resistance from their Supreme Beings. 10
  • Struck Immortal Mountain twice, forcing the Stone Emperor to remain sealed rather than emerge and fight. 11
  • Fought the transforming Immortal Emperor alongside Emperor Wushi’s intervention. 15 16

Yinghuo Emperor War

While undertaking a Heavenly Court mission to suppress the Immortal Emperor, he travels to Yinghuo and confronts the transforming ancient ruler. Battle Immortal Transformation

Seeking strength for the coming Dark Turmoil, the Void Emperor studies the Ruthless Emperor’s transformed corpse and enters seclusion to pursue a Battle Immortal transformation. War Against the Supreme Beings
