Background and History

Breaking the Sacred Body's Shackles

Ye Fan was Li Ping's disciple when he attempted to enter the Four Extremes Realm in order to aid the Jiang Family and fulfill Divine King Jiang Taixu's wishes. His breakthrough drew hostile attention, but Li Ping protected him from an attacking expert. 5

Although Ye Fan passed through four layers of heavenly tribulation, the Innate Dao Diagram descended to enforce heaven and earth's restriction on the Sacred Body. The Void Emperor intervened with a complete Great Emperor Formation Pattern, freezing and destroying the diagram so Ye Fan could complete his breakthrough. 6 7

The Void Emperor subsequently confronted the laws of heaven and earth directly, changing the rules so that the entire Sacred Body lineage could cultivate without its former restriction. Ye Fan recognized that the shackles on his body had disappeared. 9 10

Return to Earth and the Emperor's Path

The Void Emperor helped Ye Fan return to Earth. Before departing again, Ye Fan sealed his aging parents in Divine Source, resolving his attachment to ordinary life and choosing to return to the Big Dipper Star Domain for the coming Golden Age. 13 18

Ye Fan later entered the Strongest Trial Ancient Road to contend with the universe's greatest talents. He fought three Ancient Sovereign Princes alone, delayed Slaying the Dao until he could forge his own path, and eventually defeated the Overlord despite a major cultivation gap. 54 76 77

While comprehending the Dao beneath an ancient Bodhi tree, Ye Fan began evolving his own scripture and refining an unparalleled fist technique from the Three Thousand Great Daos and countless divine and demonic runes. 83 86

Establishment of the Heavenly Court

After reaching the end of the Strongest Trial Ancient Road and undergoing his tribulation, Ye Fan established the Heavenly Court. His return to the Big Dipper also placed him in defense of his disciple, Ye Tong, after the Golden Crow Clan pursued him. 93 96

Ye Fan's position as Lord of the Heavenly Court made his wedding a major event attended by leaders of prominent Big Dipper and Outer Domain powers. 114

Rise to Emperorship

On the Only True Road, Ye Fan established overwhelming dominance among his generation. He defeated Yao Guang, Divine Sovereign, and Yi Tiande, leaving many Heavenly Talents without the will to continue competing on the Emperor's Path. 143 144

After becoming a Quasi-Emperor, Ye Fan rapidly reached the Sixth Heaven and crushed the combined challenge of Supreme Being descendants, including eleven Quasi-Emperors. 146 147 152

Following two thousand years of cultivation, Ye Fan endured his Emperor tribulation and attained the Great Emperor realm. His ascension broke both the Sacred Body's ancient prohibition against becoming Emperor and the supposed rule that two Emperors could not coexist. 171

Later Era

In his twilight years, Ye Fan used Immortal Divine Medicine to live a second life, remaining at the Heavenly Court while Li Ping and other senior powerhouses pursued Mortal World Immortal transformations. 176

Ye Fan later died fighting in the Soul River alongside Emperor Wushi and the Ruthless Emperor. Li Ping resurrected all three in the System space; their brutal battle had further refined their strength. 249
