Background / History

Chu Feng lived on Earth shortly before its spiritual-energy recovery. When Li Ping approached him and claimed he was a cultivation prodigy destined to protect the world, Chu Feng initially assumed it was an obvious scam. He accepted the offer only after witnessing Li Ping collapse a mountain with a gesture, formally becoming his disciple after kowtowing three times. Li Ping taught him Star Transformation and warned that Earth’s coming revival would bring ruthless competition. 273 274

At the Ninety-Nine Dragon Mountains, Chu Feng tempered his body and spirit to their limit and condensed a Seed of the World. Li Ping concentrated the mountain range’s accumulated fortune into the seed, though the Stone Can’s influence left it shriveled and apparently damaged. Rather than allowing him to remain in seclusion, Li Ping sent him back to the recovering Earth to temper himself through real conflict. 275 276

Chu Feng rapidly swept through Earth’s famous mountains and defeated visiting Outer Domain geniuses, earning the name “Demon King Chu.” His habit of auctioning captured geniuses and plundering Earth’s fortunes made him a target for powerful outside factions. While fleeing their pursuit, he used dangerous terrains, formations, and his field-manipulation knowledge against them. 276 279

Li Ping later entrusted Chu Feng with the remnants of the Ancient Heavenly Court. Chu Feng accepted the associated karma, established a new Heavenly Court above Earth, and began unifying the surrounding universe under its banner. 288 290

After defeating Yang Realm invaders and Taiwu Ancestor’s Major Galaxy Realm clone, Chu Feng led the Heavenly Court into the Yang Realm. There he was nominated as the new Heavenly Emperor, secured the ancient Great Dao artifacts, and was formally recognized by the Yang Realm’s races as Heavenly Emperor. 293 297 323 339

Following Li Ping’s departure to confront greater Anomalous threats, Chu Feng united the Myriad Worlds and led their fusion into a reconstituted Immortal Domain. The resulting fortune elevated him to the Immortal King realm and strengthened the Heavenly Court for the coming Great Sacrifice. 363 365

Personality

Chu Feng is bold, combative, and highly unwilling to accept humiliation. He responds to stronger enemies with traps, direct challenges, and calculated risks rather than submission; when Taiwu Ancestor offered to accept him as a disciple, Chu Feng refused despite being gravely injured. 279 297

He is also opportunistic and mischievous. His auctioning of Saint Sons and Saintesses, theft of a Golden Invitation to enter the Great Dream Pure Land, and habit of turning hostile pursuers against dangerous terrain all contribute to his “Demon King” reputation. 276 284 288

Despite his arrogance, Chu Feng takes Li Ping’s expectations seriously. He repeatedly accepts dangerous responsibilities connected to the Heavenly Court, seeks to strengthen himself so he can fight beside his master, and assumes leadership over the peoples who place their trust in him. 288 315 339

Abilities & Skills

Star Transformation

Li Ping’s foundational cultivation method allows Chu Feng to gather stellar power, cultivate through the Cosmic Cultivation System, and manifest overwhelming combat phenomena. 274 292

  • Condenses vast numbers of stars into attacks, including enormous stellar hands and star rivers. 293 296
  • Manifests nine sword lights capable of breaking techniques, repeatedly beheading Jiang Zhou and damaging Taiwu Ancestor’s avatar. 292 293
  • Lets him fight above his realm; at Minor Galaxy Realm, he withstood attacks from Taiwu Ancestor’s Major Galaxy Realm clone. 296
  • Resonates with fragments of the Primordial Chaos Banner because both share the same origin. 298

Field Manipulation

Chu Feng possesses an inheritance in field manipulation and uses terrain as a weapon against stronger enemies. 279

  • Built a defensive killing field on Mount Huangshan with Dragon Locking Stakes, runes, magnetic stones, and field-enhancing artifacts. 281
  • Used Earth’s famous mountains and rivers to destroy alien battleships and trap pursuing experts. 281
  • Can navigate certain extraordinary terrains with the Stone Can’s protection. 279
  • His fields are not sufficient against every opponent; Outer Domain experts with suitable treasures could resist terrain hazards. 279

Heavenly Emperor Authority

As Heavenly Emperor, Chu Feng can wield the authority embodied by the Reincarnation Lamp, Chaos Mace, and Myriad Tribulation Mirror. 339 364

  • Uses the three artifacts to manipulate the Yang Realm’s Great Dao rules and manifest his presence throughout its worlds. 340
  • Can temporarily reach power surpassing the Quasi-@@REF_ENTITY_6430014@@ level when drawing fully on their authority. 368
  • Led the fusion of the Yang Realm, Dark Immortal Realm, and related world fragments into a restored Immortal Domain. 363 364
  • Can distribute a portion of the world’s creation to allies who contributed to the fusion. 365
  • Borrowed authority has limits: the Master of Ceremonies easily defeated him when he attempted to challenge it directly. 368

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Stone Can / stone jar — A mysterious object found by Chu Feng near Kunlun Mountain; Li Ping identifies it as the third coffin of the Nine Dragon Pulling Coffin and refuses to disclose its full origins. It protects Chu Feng in extraordinary terrains and stores other treasures. 274 279 298
  • Fragmented Map Piece / Primordial Chaos Banner fragment — A fragment of Li Ping’s former Emperor weapon that entered Chu Feng’s Stone Can after resonating with Star Transformation. It killed Taiwu Ancestor’s clone and later annihilated Anomalous Quasi-@@REF_ENTITY_6430014@@s. 295 297 336
  • Chaos Mace — Ancient Great Dao artifact of the Yang Realm; Chu Feng initially refined it and stored it within the Stone Can. 327 328
  • Reincarnation Lamp — Ancient Great Dao artifact later brought under Chu Feng’s initial control. 332
  • Myriad Tribulation Mirror — Ancient Great Dao artifact wielded alongside the Chaos Mace and Reincarnation Lamp as part of his Heavenly Emperor authority. 339 345
  • Dragon Locking Stakes — Field-controlling artifacts used as the core of his Mount Huangshan defensive formation. 281
  • Bronze Coffin Lid — Used while empowered by Li Ping to counter the Anomalies at the Soul River. 310

Relationships

  • Li Ping / Lu Xuan — Master. Li Ping accepted Chu Feng as his disciple, taught him Star Transformation, orchestrated much of his growth through tempering, and selected him to restore the Heavenly Court. 274 282 323
  • Yaoyao — Ally and fellow Heavenly Court leader. Chu Feng fought alongside her against forces threatening Earth, accompanied her to recover her body from the Great Abyss, and later entered the Yang Realm with her. 281 283 299
  • Yaoyao’s Grandfather (Chu Ba Wang) — Senior ally and supporter of Chu Feng’s Heavenly Court; he helped endorse Chu Feng’s first ascension as Heavenly Emperor. 286 288
  • Saint Master — Heavenly Court supporter who accompanied Chu Feng in major expeditions, including the Chaos Sea and Yang Realm. 288 294 299
  • Gu Tuo — Quasi-@@REF_ENTITY_6430014@@ ally who recommended Chu Feng for the position of Heavenly Emperor and aided the world-fusion process. 323 364
  • Duan DeLi Ping’s friend and a powerful Heavenly Court ally who defended Chu Feng’s claim to the Chaos Mace. 324
  • Taiwu Ancestor — Yang Realm adversary whose avatar and Major Galaxy Realm clone were defeated by Chu Feng; Taiwu’s attempt to recruit him ended in Taiwu’s death. 293 296 297
