Background / History

The Immortal Emperor was a peerless powerhouse from the end of the Mythological Era. Before attaining the Dao, he dared to assassinate Emperor Venerate; after becoming enlightened, he ruled the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, brought about the Primordial Era, and was revered by the Primordial Ten Thousand Races as the Overgod 132.

His longevity stemmed from a special bloodline associated with the True Phoenix clan. By bathing in the blood of Ancient Sovereigns and Great Emperors, he repeatedly underwent nirvana and metamorphosis, surviving for millions of years 41 55. His victims included Great Emperor Tai Huang, whom he killed in the Immortal Mansion World 41.

In his later years, the Void Emperor concluded that the Immortal Emperor had been the mysterious attacker who ambushed him. The Fighting Saint Emperor was likewise ambushed by him while attempting to become a Battle Immortal 15 130.

Around eighty thousand years before the present era, Emperor Wushi found the Immortal Emperor at a Path to Immortality node on Huoying Ancient Star. Their conflict continued across worlds, with Emperor Wushi preventing him from leaving through a Void Gate 14 16.

Appearance

During his metamorphosis, the Immortal Emperor appears as a blood-covered, flesh-like cocoon within an ancient battlefield palace. A seated figure with its back to all beings can be seen within or near the cocoon 14.

  • Exudes a heart-stopping, indescribable aura even while transforming 14.
  • Can manifest only part of his body when restrained in another world; during the battle at the Path to Immortality, only one arm descended 129.
  • Wields the Five-Colored Heavenly Blade 130.

Personality

The Immortal Emperor is an exceptionally calculating survivor. His long life was built on covertly harvesting the blood of other supreme experts for his own transformations, earning him the reputation of an “old schemer” 14 41.

He is ruthless in pursuing power and longevity, treating powerful beings as resources or threats to be eliminated. His apparent indifference when the Immortal Empress attempted to summon him reflects his detachment even toward those closest to him 151.
