Naruto wasn't the only one who was hungry; everyone else was too. Fighting was quite draining.
Kakashi and Sasuke were the ones making lunch. Sasuke had recently learned to cook through cheating, and his every move was meticulous, very much like his mother's. Fortunately, he hadn't copied her habit of brushing back her hair midway through cooking.
"Sasuke is amazing." Sakura rested her chin in both hands and watched Sasuke's practiced movements, feeling a little defeated.
"He really is. I wonder how it tastes." Naruto sat beside Sakura, also watching from the sidelines. He was worried that if Sasuke's cooking turned out to be dark cuisine too, the two of them would be in for a rough time.

"It smells so good!" Sakura happily enjoyed the fruits of Sasuke's labor and suddenly felt that it might be fine if she never entered a kitchen again.
After taking a bite, Kakashi's eyes curved into crescents. "It really is excellent."
Naruto nervously watched his teammates test it for poison before he finally dared to try Sasuke's cooking. Then, unable to help himself, he spoke in his big brother's voice:
"Five ants!"
Who would've thought Sasuke had such talent? He was well suited for cooking.
Having received their approval, Sasuke curled his lips into
